Any experience with Armed Assault and/or Operation Flashpoint? Played some single player OF way back when it came out.
Are you active in any other games at TG? COD4(360), used to play a good amount of the BF series, probably Age of Conan when it comes out.
Any interest in mission editing/scripting? not at this time.
Any real world Military experience? nope, only games.

Looking to have some fun with the game. I think I better learn a little in SP before I try MP.

Are you active in any other games at TG? Not really. I've played on your servers a few times in various games, but that's it.
Any interest in mission editing/scripting? Maybe a little, been dinking around with it.
Any real world Military experience? No, but I have guns.

I'm really interested in the big operations that I've seen in the AARs with TG and Shack Tactical. Unfortunately my schedule makes it difficult to attend these things.

Any interest in mission editing/scripting? i used to make co-op missions for IL2 with my old clan, so i think it would be fun to try some for arma too...but not untill i understand the game better.
Any real world Military experience? no...my brother joined the army after highschool (1986)and was in GW1, but i never joined...sometimes i think maybe i should have.

I played the solo campaign of arma a while back and OF when i was in college we used to try some small lan with of and try to hook us some map but with all the glitch it was sometime hard to do anything concrete , we also had too much disconnect issues so I dropped the game.

in this domain now i'm now lazy toward weekend programming

I am downloading from steam as we speak. Too many TG on counter strike source talk about the quality of this game, so I bought it. phft... like I don't play enough games!

Well, assuming that things go well, I'll be on tomorrow some...

I'm assuming 1.12 beta is the only thing we need to download?

You need to make sure you are patched to 1.08 first, then install the 1.12 beta patch. Be sure to follow the directions in the readme file in the beta patch zip.

2) Play PR ALOT, exclusively on the TG server! Less now because of Arma though.

3) Bought Arma a week ago. No SP experience, plenty of multiplayer.

4) Longer range engagements: M16A4 Acog
Shorter range engagements: M4 Aimpoint M203

5) Fooled around with the editor. Made some fun helo training missions involving the one man Ka-50.

6) Playing Retail version of Arma.

7) Game is awesome except for the laggy and dumb AI.

8) Planning on heading into the Army as a 2ndLt. Hopefully in the engineer corps. If the opportunity arises then Army aviation.

Are you active in any other games at TG? ArmA and IL2 are the only games (or sims) I play.

Any interest in mission editing/scripting? I don't have any experience with editing MP missions yet, only SP missions for my own amusement. I'd like to see more TvT organized coops, but since I haven't seen any, maybe I'll have to make some myself.

Any real world Military experience? Do you count teaching in an inner city high school? We've had nine murders here in one week now.

I've only been playing organized coops in Arma for a couple weeks now (I don't count Evolution). The first coops I played a year ago were a chaotic mess, so I gave up on them for a long time. Some of the coops I've played the last two weeks have been excellent--the first time I've seen squads efficiently completing SimHQ missions with few or no casualties. So I'm looking to join a good squad now.

Well... I'm new so far... and haven't gotten on line yet. Still trying to figure out how to play with ANY level of skill - i can't do squat yet. Hopefully you'll see me in the future.
