Also, do I need any mods, or is a straight up, steam purchased, freshly installed copy of ArmA good to hop on the server.

Welcome mat552,

For mods you will need some to play on the first server but the second locked server is just plain ArmA

Any group affiliation?: In a clan for a different game, but that's not a full time thing. Tempted to join TG though...

Any experience with Armed Assault and/or Operation Flashpoint?: Yes, played OFP for years, online and off. I've played ArmA since release.

Are you active in any other games at TG?: Project Reality, if I find the time.

Any interest in mission editing/scripting?: I have previously taken interest in ArmA movie making, which involves scripting for cameras, triggers etc., but, same thing, I don't have the time to learn the scripts.

Any real world Military experience?: No... Not yet :P

Are you active in any other games at TG?: Not currently. I've played a lot of co-op GhostRecon (years ago), some co-op GRAW, some BF2...

Any interest in mission editing/scripting?: Interested, yes; capable, probably not

Any real world Military experience?: Short stint in the Canadian Reserves (artillery), many years ago, followed by a few years in the Regular Forces. It's been about 14 years since then though.

Are you active in any other games at TG: Negative, but I'm pretty sure I played some a while back on your BF2 Project Reality Mod server. Liked how that server enforced team work.

Any interest in mission editing/scripting? Haven't Looked into this.

Any real world Military experience? 4 years in the Marine Corps as a Comm Tech but I mostly drove HMMWV's and 5-ton Trucks

not so much good with actually designing so to speak but i can feed ideas faster then you guys can make them.

A warm welcome here fellas. You will find the TG servers a great place to play ArmA with a group of likeminded players of a variety of ability from veteran to new, RL Military experienced and Non.

Enjoy...get stuck into a firefight, listen to your Squad Leaders or Platoon Commanders and open a large can of whoop-ass on the enemy!

Is this where I get the required mods for TG?
Can't use link but saw it in the mod section was'nt sure if those were right ones.

Here is the link for the Mods Pack but if you download the Phase1 pack, make sure you also download the "Iraqi Police Mod" and the "Real Artillery" also on this page as it was missed from the Phase1 pack
