Hey all, I just bought ARMA2 off Steam today and it's really great so far. I did play Operation Flashpoint back in the day but never any multiplayer as my 56k modem wasn't up to the task

Other TG games I've played are CS, GRAW2 and AA3. I don't have any real world military experience but I'm an avid supporter. I tend to stick to medic classes or any type of support roles in most games so if there's a spot open for that I'll go for it.

Hi everyone, I picked up Arma 2 a while back and I've stuck to SP so far. I dabbled in OFP a bit, but never any MP. So I thought I would try out some MP Arma 2 and I read good things about your guys server. Hopefully I don't embarass myself too much. If I suddenly drop out of a match, I do have a 4 month old that I have to give a bottle to.

Hey everyone saw this on group on the Arma 2 forums, just wanted to check you guys out.

3. Played OFP as a kid then stopped for awhile, then 2 years back picked up arma played a ton of multiplayer but never with a set group of guys.
4. Nope first TG game and hoping its gonna be good
5. No mission editing or scripting knowledge, i have ideas but no idea how to implement.

Welcome all of you to TG Arma2. Read our SOP's to see how we operate,check out our forum especially on how von works because that where the server passwords are hidden. You need the Beta patch to play on our servers, thats very important. I f you have any questions ask away in the forum or on teamspeak. I played ArmA with you guys around June. Shortly after that came ArmA II, I delayed getting it until getting a new, better computer and am now back in action. Looking forward to playing on TG again, even though ACE 2 is probably still a long time away.

Hey everyone! Just bought Arma2 yesterday and have been getting aquainted with the game before I jump online. Just wanted to report in and let you know you have a new recruit on the way.

My in-game name is Jeth (people find Jetheren to wierd to pronounce in-game so I'll just keep it short and sweet).

I'm not part of or have been a part of a clan.

I have never played an Armed Assault/Operation Flashpoint game, but I do understand the gameplay of ArmA2.

I'm currently active on the |TG| Battlefield 2142 server, I used to play CoD4 and still do occasionaly.

I am interested in mission editing and scripting. I have no prior experience in doing so, but I have had ideas floating around in my head for some missions. Will those missions ever see the light? Only time will tell

I do not have any real world combat experience. The closest thing I have is my Grandpa telling me about survival training in the Air Force and some of his missions in Vietnam, oh and watching Band of Brothers on the History Channel. So yeah... non at all.

Well that about does it for those questions. For those who havn't read my comments in recent posts. What got me hooked on ArmA2 was reading about your mission that is going to be featured in PC Gamer, and watching the videos over it. I have been looking for a game like this for a long time. I'm very interested in piloting Transport Helicopters, Fighter Jets, and Transport planes; but am also equally interested in ground pounding it.

I hope to be on later today or this evening (got to re-read the SOP's and make sure I have everything down pat). See you all on the battlefield!

2) OFP was one of my first online game, i played all sp campaigns

3) i didn't bought ARMA but i played the demo a lot, so later when ARMA 2 came out i bought it right away.

I've had ArmA2 since the day it was released but have not play a single second online yet. I am one of the PR people that have migrated over here now. I have, however, lurked this forum for quite a long time and feel that now I should probably get involved being that I am planning on getting into some co-op missions.

I do not know how much time that I will be able to dedicate to online play, but I hope to get to know a lot of you in the long run.

3. Any experience with Armed Assault and/or Operation Flashpoint?: I played OFP years ago. I was on the USS Peleliu at the time actually.

4. Are you active in any other games at TG?: I did play PR for a while, but after having a baby and moving, no.

5. Any interest in mission editing/scripting?: I do enjoy trying to do some mission editing. My plans are always greater then my scripting ability (or lack there of).

6. Any real world Military experience? Yes, I was in the Marine Corps from 1999 to 2004. I was a part of 1st LAR, B Co and was a gunner in a LAV-25 (hence the in game name).
