Hello all! Glad to be on board and part of TG.

1. Ingame name: DavidKht
2. I was affiliated with =GiB= for a brief moment (PR)
3. Armed Assault 2 is my first OpFP game.
4. Never played on a TG server on ArmA2, but play constantly on the PR server.
5. I have a moderate amount of experience with 3DS MAX, and love to model and texture. I also have a bit of experience with sound editing.
6. No real-world military experience.

A little more about myself:
I developed an interest in military simulators when I was opened up to Project Reality. I really enjoyed the gameplay in it, but I felt that the teamwork was not as best as it could be. I prefer massive scale teamwork with specialized branches to perform tasks. I love to fly, and have a private pilot's license myself. I'll see you guys ingame!

Hi everyone,

i'm not really "new" to the TG - Community but i never introduced myself on the forums. (sorry for that)

I've been playing PR in the last couple of years and if possible on TG servers. As i'm from europe timing is sometimes difficult.
But as i'm principially focused on teamplay, playing on other servers does not satisfy me much.
That's the reason i'm here.

playing quite often on TG Alpha and Bravo
just learned how to create missions

interested in learning more
can provide support in almost everything related to audio editing

Played OFP since it 1st came out, then resistance then to ARMA and will soon buy ARMA 2.

I have a question, I want to buy ARMA 2 and have seen many copies from Thailand that go for $20. They claim to be originals with original online key, is it true? Has anyone tried them? What makes them so cheap and whats the difference?

I owned and played quite a bit of Operation Flashpoint, but haven't touched it since the days of Windows 2000.

Not yet! I'm new to Armed Assault as of a couple of days ago. I'm a video game developer and coder, however, and would be open to some scripting at some point.

The reason they are cheap is because they are burned copies of the game. The CD key they give you may work as far as getting the game installed, however, I would be willing to bet that they are already in use online and if thats the case you wont be able to play. Also our servers pick up if a copy of ArmA is pirated and will kick you from the server if you try to join.

Glad to have found a group of online gamers that apply TEAMWORK COMMUNICATIONS TACTICS. Only played multiplayer on wwiionline since it rolled out and then stuck with flight sims.

Been playing ArmA2 offline for about a week. Lots and lots of flying practice, as I'm big on flight sims. Haven't ventured online yet.

Yes. I've worked within several game engines, and am a developer in real life, so I would certainly enjoy working on custom ArmA missions.

Any experience with Armed Assault and/or Operation Flashpoint?: I have played ArmA2 offline a fair bit and i own but have never played Operation Flashpoint 2. i havn't played online yet because i have never had anyone to play with or a laggfree server to play on.

Are you active in any other games at TG? cant remember what they all were off the top of my head but i own BF2 and world in conflict. dont play so much now though.

Any interest in mission editing/scripting? sorry but this is a little bit beyond me at the moment.

Any real world Military experience? none at all.

Can't wait to get online with you all. I bought ArmA2 as I was looking for an in-depth team based tactical shooter and with TG I should hopefully get exactly that. I have to confess I'm probably a bit of a noob compared with some of you guys, I'm sure my voice comm skills are poor but I learn fast!
