    SnakeEyes 64p, 12-2, 10pm

    Quickly becoming one of my favorite maps, this Snake Eyes is... This round we started another OutpostD squad and the guys did fantastic. The US is definitely trying to concentrate here lately, and it makes for some intense rounds. Super-shouts to the crew: SeriousTurtle and Lt.Carman of the Irregs, SashaBaronCohen, Sgt.Kiel, and {tR]Mike54.

    Our OutpostD squad took the Uke side lead, while the Arty Squad on the US side took theirs. Final score was 416-0. Without a breakthrough, it's rough...

    I think the efforts to land on our (or "my!") outpost were not as perfectly-organized as they could have been, but they weren't shoddy efforts by any means, and the US was intense about the trying...The arty was hitting us hard the whole round, of course, and I was a bit stressed with having the guys get those mines down between the falling shells, but man, they did a fine job. Excellent job by the whole team, and again: nice defense, squad-mates.

    Looking forward to many more battles on this map... And someday, it might even be fun to try to assault that accursed beach, if I ever get the draw...

    As an aside, that round of "Sabre" made me cry...

    Double down for tonight's (12/05/07) big round o SnakeEyes64. More excellent defense to the beach squad: Corp and Rock ran with us, DeadSideShow and Hitman and Opreal Shrayev finished the round as a 'best' squad. I want to mention {tR]Mike54 again, because he was in the squad for most of the round and I lost him close to the end, and he was a huge part of the success we had this round. Again, the arty and a few determined squads did their part to try and remove us from our humble outpost, but we weren't having it. Props to the team, though the round ended early.

    And BetterDead, sorry for my intensely NOT wanting a medic there and saying so, even though you had just spawned in... my bad, completely. Good round though; thanks.
