Victory!!!
Congratulations to the TG team on an awesome performance and great teamwork!! ![]() My squad: Steiner SparkOne Cola88 Elwenil MacMurchu ![]() Squad 4 AAR: Rollout: Our rollout went well other than the fact that I teamkilled Steiner by running him over leaving the Farm with our Land Rover. A combination of lag on both of our parts had a lot to do with this, at least that's my excuse. We proceeded to Coal Mine without our APC coverage and only half of our squad. We arrived at Coal Mine and I went down the slope on the east side of the mine to place a rally behind the elevator as planned. The jeep arrived at the bottom intact and I hopped out, only to be promptly killed by the jeep falling on me off the ledge of the concrete entry in the face of the cliff. So far things are going exactly as planned. Luckily I tk'd Steiner leaving the Farm so our APC hadn't left yet. To top it off, I now had about a minute to spawn because of the TK penalty. By the time I arrived back at Coal Mine and set our rally, Cola88 and SparkOne had capped the flag with a member of Shugart's squad (I believe). Steiner and MacMurchu placed the APC where I had asked them to and we settled in to defend Coal Mine. Somehow an enemy spec ops got behind our APC and got two slams on it and we lost the APC. A replacement was brought up and we had no other contact at Coal Mine. We received orders to move toward Village so we loaded the squad up in the APC and went far north of village to avoid detection by enemy forces. We went to the crossing in B2 and the squad dismounted to check the stream for mines. We found and cleared a mine and there was also C4. After searching for the "trigger man", we decided to smoke the crossing and rush the apc across, figuring that anything less than a direct hit would allow us to repair the apc. We got it across without incident and moved to the south, west of the Village flag. At this point we encountered enemy mobile AA and I think the enemy attack chopper took out our APC. We were ordered to withdraw and begin the long run north to try to rendezvous with our APC and fall back to Coal Mine. Once we met up with the APC, orders were changed and we went to the fire base near Squad 3. At this point we encountered some sporadic sniper fire from across the lake north of Village. Our apc was able to zero in and take out the sniper. We also had several run-ins with enemy infantry near the fire base culminating with a tank or two. I think we were all wiped out and had to start over at the airfield with a new APC. We then returned north east of the Village and encountered another tank. Elwenil got C4 on the tank but was killed. I managed to get smoke out and recover his kit and detonate the C4 on the tank, killing it. We then went across the river and spent the next hour fighting an intense battle with Chinese defenders north of Village. We made in to Village and capped the flag but were routed out by enemy AA southwest of the flag. After retaking the Village flag for the second time, we were sent south to the Chinese FOB. We arrived on scene to encounter an enemy tank and several infantry capping the flag back. I got caught by a Chinese tank in the rock formation north of FOB and spent a minute circling a rock while the tank chased me. I threw every smoke grenade and flash bang I had and somehow survived and the tank was destroyed - I have no idea how! We were recalled back to defend Coal Mine at this point to defend as the Chinese had neutralized Village after we left and we wanted to prevent them from causing a complete disaster. We arrived at Coal Mine and eliminated the small Chinese presence and spent the remaining 50 tickets at Coal Mine. This was a brilliant round and was well played by the TG team. The teamwork and coordination was phenomenal! Everyone that participated should be proud of themselves for their conduct, professionalism and execution. Lesson learned: Running a squad with 4 infantry (SL included) and an apc is very difficult. I don't feel I did a good job with the APC as my attention was constantly divided between keeping my squad on the enemy infantry, keeping them alive (my squad, not their infantry) and keeping the APC positioned to be of assistance to us without putting it into unnecessary danger. This was an extremely thin line to walk. The Chinese tanks were everywhere and our APC was destroyed at least 5 times during the round. I take the blame for this - I was too focused on the men on foot in my squad and not devoting enough of my attention to the apc. Perhaps next time I should not be so directly involved in the action so I can coordinate my squad better, or I should just not have the apc in the squad and make it entirely an infantry squad.

Re: QinLing Scrim Results
Oh my god...words cannot express how proud I am of my squad. Our priority was a small specs ops squad to go deep into enemy lines and give intel, destroy assets, and lazing targets.
Dirtboy: My main responsibility was spotting and lazing tanks and giving intel south of the Chinese FOB. Blonov: My personal Engineer . My mine laying machine. My Bunker buster![]() Skud: Best sniper out there. Constantly giving intel to me and I would in turn give it to my superiors. And he would constantly shoot the PLA soldiers repairing the bunker!

Re: QinLing Scrim Results
This scrim is what TG is all about. The teamwork was at an all time high with coordination between air and grounds units making the most of everyone's abilities. The initial push of Chinese armor from the Chinese FOB was hit repeatedly and I am certain that this played a large part in our team taking the lead.
We fought back and forth at village and were held at bay by snipers, armor, AA, and attack choppers but we still managed to get in there and cap it a few times. The Chinese forces holding village were definitely on their game, and gave us a good run for our money. It's unfortunate that half the Chinese team ended up leaving halfway through the map, but I consider that a part of the victory since I am certain our demoralizing attack on their armor and air assets had them cursing us from the beginning. It was a long battle, and not easy by any means. Everyone did a great job but special thanks to Disposable for keeping our squad on track and right where we needed to be and all the pilots in the aircraft for hitting targets all over the map consistently.

Re: QinLing Scrim Results
Had to say it was the most organized match I've seen in awhile. Loved the way the match started with the convoy rolling out and Chopper & Jet over head. Great spotting of enemy armor by everyone, tanks and air support did there jobs well.
Proud to be a TG member because of this, teamwork and maturity at it's best.

Re: QinLing Scrim Results
Last scrimm I played was with ORT vs TG, and the commander left early and you TG guys tore us up on qwai river. So I left and months later I am a part of TG and had a fantantic battle, and they still left halfway as usual.
Very organized and I printed up the battle plans to keep next to me. -Thanks -jOHNNY |

Re: QinLing Scrim Results
I was in squad 3. It consisted of egoatboay(SL), johnnydoube, carpface, bc2id and zaboo. Me and Zaboo were assigned to the tank, Zaboo drove while i gunned, and that suited the little tank experience i had very well! Thanks Zaboo!
Our squad was assigned to cover Village and the Northwest to make sure the enemy didn't come across the water basically. We were also gonna support Squad 4 attacking Village when the time was right. The intial roll out went well and we proceeded to E4 and E5, our new home the next hours. A firebase was set up, and we rolled in with the AA and tank to cover the area. Everything went as planned. And over the next hours we saw just about constant action it seemed to me. First we engaged infantry moving to cap Village. They offcourse took Village pretty quick since we only engaged from far away. We then got locked on from the northwest several times and in the end got taken out but not before taking some of the with us. Now us being taken out in E4/E5 happened alot so the details of when what happened get a little blurry for a while here. But our ticket lead rose from 30-50 the first hour i think. We got a new tank and our firebase to the south was suddenly under attack. We proceeded to clear out the area. During this there was an enemy tank between us and farm outpost. We soon engaged and took it out while getting killed in the process. We went back to E4/E5 but i think we got taken out by a HAT next. We then got taken out by a chopper. We next took out their AA and tank, before we got killed if i remember right. Well then the time finally came to assault Village. Squad 4 came up and we went across the bridge. Infantry rushed the flag and cleared it. We patrolled the mountains and entrance to Village. We engaged an enemy tank which we took with us to the death. We got the flag. Unfortunately the enemy made a quick counter-attack and took out our tank once again when we got back to Village. The SL along with infantry and squad 4 made a great stand to try to hold them off long enough for the other squads to cap the FOB. But in the end we lost Village. But the ticket bleed put our opponents 60-70 tickets behind at this point. We reestablished ourselves in E4/E5, and continued to pound and push into Village. At this point we were getting a bit tired. Me and Zaboo atleast weren't as active as earlier in the round and we swapped gun/driver positions for a while, but we fought on. Luckily for us, the other team was tired too and several soon quit. This made the push on Village easier, although we lost and won it twice this time we managed to hold it when we took out their aa and mobile gun overlooking Village along with infantry there. After that squad 7 quickly took FOB. I remember Sparks i think saying "good game" etc in text chat at this point, thinking it was soon over. We were ordered to move up to their main base for the cap out with squad 7 it seemed. We also took out a truck that tried to just ram us in an attempt to slow our attack it seemed. Me and Zaboo drove up to their main base and took out all their armour and trucks. But sadly the other team quickly took the FOB back. And the panic was on! We rushed back to Village which quickly became neutral. I remember Sparks in text chat now: "Now they are capping us out!" They immediately afterwards got the Village flag. The rest of our team rushed back to Mine. Me and Zaboo drove and overlooked Village from the mountain while our infantry made it back and recapped the flag with almost no resistance. There must have been two guys there tops! We cleared the area around the flag and mountain and started to cover our south. The other team were bleeding so it was soon over. Last thing we did was engage an enemy tank and in the confusion i took out a friendly tank. I remember being really tired at this point and that's my excuse. I kept trying to hit the enemy tank over the hill to the south when all of a sudden it was over. VICTORY!Our whole team did an excellent team-effort which resulted in our victory! Good job everyone! Also cudos to my squad, SL egoatboy and Zaboo for sticking so good together as we did and for holding out with my jibberish english which i know can be hard for you yanks, especially when you're getting tired! I hadn't played PR with anyone of you before and i'm not a veteran PR player either so i was surprised how well it all went. Thanks for having me guys! i look forward to the next one!
