Qwai River 2-24-08

I joined up with the 11th squad under the leadership of Portable.Cougar whose job it was to man the APCs. We loaded up with Sturm_Cola driving, me gunning and the rest of the squad in the back ready for action. Heading east we made towards processing plant to set a rally before eventually moving on Govt. After we dropped the rally the rest of the squad moved out on foot while Sturm and I circled around in the APC. We ran into the enemy APC and managed to destroy it but not before it had damaged us beyond repair. Sturm and I bailed and rejoined the rest of the squad, meeting heavy resistance inside Govt. After a run in with the second USMC APC, Sturm and I spawned back at the PLA main and brought up another APC to better support the assault on Govt. We moved behind Govt on the east side and pummeled Govt with heat shells before circling around to the west side. We managed to catch the TOW Humvee unawares and promptly destroyed that before making it inside the walls at Govt. Enemy AA and a fire base were spotted NE of our position so after some quick repairs we moved to take out the enemy assest, this time with me in the drivers seat. With me spotting and Sturm shooting we took out both the AA, the bunker an APC that had rolled in to try to support, and at least 6 support troops.

With Govt secure the squad loaded up and moved south to processing, approaching the flag from the southern docks. Portable.Cougar and the other members of the squad swept out infront of the APC and cleared the path on our way into the heart of processing where Sturm and I set up covering the back fence leading into processing. The USMC had a rally back behind the wall and were forced to come through our area in order to make it into the flag area and Sturm made quick work of any and all ground troops despite their efforts to smoke up the area.

With Processing secure we left a squad to defend and loaded up the APC to support the squad designated to take Mine. The back way into Mine was heavily guarded and while Sturm was able to take out what looked to be a full squad, we got hit with L-AT.
Down but not out, Sturm and I spawned back at PLA main and grabbed another APC and rejoined the fight. ||Pancho|| cleared some key mines while heading up the rear entrance to Mine and Sturm and I perched on the roof of mine, assisting the cap while the rest of the squad cleared the hills before joining us on the flag.
Mine was captured but the squad guarding Processing had fallen and so it was time to load up and head back there to retake the flag. A run in with another TOW Humvee made things a bit interesting but Sturm lit it up nicely and we continued to cover the back entrance to Processing.

After Processing was secure the squad got the order to move on Pig Farm, the final flag for the USMC. With Heat rounds loaded Sturm and I plastered Pig Farm, taking out many enemies.

The final stats for our squad looked like this with Sturm taking top spot and me close behind:

Great AAR man

That was a fun round for sure. Everyone in the the squad did just what they needed to to bring us victory.

Me: "we got any engi's?"
Pancho: "ill spawn engi next death"
Me: "Panch where you at... Oh there you are"
--Boom, Boom, Boom---
|TG-X| Portable.Cougar team kills |TG-X| ||Pancho||
Me: "Go ahead and spawn Engi"
Pancho: "you son-of_a#$%@"

I played as the U.S. commander for about half the map until I had to go attend to other matters. Sorry for abandoning the team, I didn't do so because we were losing. I'm not one to do that.

But I was there for your viscious attack on our north bridge defense and goverment offices. That was some intense fighting. I recall one time I was lying down in our firebase north of the road by north bridge looking at my command screen and the next thing I know I'm looking at a respawn timer and a Chinese squad running around in the background after I got knifed,hahaha. Great job guys, major props you yall.
