Just wanted to say a quick thank you to A.Wickens and the rest of the squad for a good time on Qwai yesterday. Sucked that I had to leave early, it was just starting to get good! Anyways, thanks for reminding me what good teamwork is and how much fun it can be to play in a good squad!
I wish I had a pic of that monster sandbag you put in the East Gate at Gov't Office, it was perfect!
Mate that was a sweet round and it did indeed suck that you had to leave, damn that work stuff, so overrated. Still I look forward to squadding up with you anytime buddy.
We lost mate, despite our heroic attempts defending govt Office we were unable to get a strong foothold at village and eventually the team caved in. Too much time spent arguing over who was going to fly what chopper I expect and not enough people involved in actual flag capture. You know, the usual lol.
yeah, but at least it was a ton of fun defending Gov't Office. I kinda thought we were going to lose when in the 45mins of defending gov't office the rest of the team couldn't take fishing village
Amazing defense at Government Office guys, Scud and I were running two separate squads and time and time again we were pushed back. Eventually we overran you guys, but it took forever and we almost lost Fishing and had to fall back.
So it was Nardini and Skud attacking Gov't Office, explains a few things lol.
I managed to sneak up to the northern bridge to check out the buildings. I was hoping to sniff out a couple of rally points based on the angle of attack etc.
Imagine my horror when I rounded the corner and there was a whole Chinese military complex in one little courtyard, Comm trucks, firebases I think there was even an APC there and I had just snuck past the TANK outside. Never felt so alone in my life, I of course gave my life valiantly seconds later. I believe, after somewhat naively killing an engineer stood atop the firebase I was cruelly hacked down in a hail of bullets by the watching chinese troops, no doubt stunned at the stupidity of someone announcing there presence in such a fruitless and utterly futile gesture of defiance. When Gov't Office fell I took it very badly (lol) as we had held on by our fingernails for so long. Massive pat on the back to my squad as it was a great game from our perspective, despite losing, and you were all great fun to play with.
Wow, I didnt know you guys were talking about that excellent round on Qwai river...
Wickens, my favourite muppet, I must confess I've killed a lot of guys at gov, in and out, so is not hard to believe that I killed you more than once...I'm glad to have introduced you my bullets, I assume you did get on well with them, hihihi.
That was an epic round, indeed, crossing the nothern bridge, capturing gov, in spite of losing it once, and then when we captured processing, bam! round over.(I was in Skud's squad).
Bravo Microsoft, you have now surpassed EA in poor decisions and once and for all seized the crown for the worst 'Reveal' ever. That EA were standing there on the stage with you when you did it was...

It is not often that I encounter across myself when researching a topic. I found the following in a recent article on the uses of ethnography in virtual environments:

Took a gamble and got a refurbished 30 GB OCZ Vertex 1 off of NewEgg for the low, low price of $30. Had some trouble getting the drive to be recognized by Windows or by my BIOS. Had to use a jumper...
