Re: TG v FFTF 20th April
Good times and great games. Excellent work TG. Thanks to [FFTF]ED, Sword and everyone else at FFTF. I hope we can do this again soon.
I was in JB4's squad all 4 rounds. Squad Town: 6, Primary Infantry on Town flag JB4, SL Troublesome Raunchy Dirtboy Khan JMaker For H2H we attacked Town as Ger and UKR. Town was a complete meat grinder. We got to the flag first both rounds and capped it. FFTF was very aggressive and sent waves of infantry and armor to us which kept us on our toes. Well that and the constant arty . We did lose town few a times for quite a while but we had a strong lead and other squads were able to cap there side flags to offset it occasionally. Controlling town was critical and aloud for our team to have a triangle flag defense. Squad 5: Field Harassment JB4 (SL) Troublesome MercenarieVVV Vaark Khan JMaker For Brerezne we attacked the Field flag. The Field flag doesn't have that much cover and was difficult to attack and defend. FFTF had a tank and or mortar covering it both rounds. .....As UKR we go to the flag first and held it for a while before getting pushed back and then off. We tried various ways of getting back to the flag from Radar Station but were not very successful at first. We tried walking there on the West side but got cut down in the open field. When we took the boat there we must of been spotted because we were met with a allot of resistance. We finally took the flag by driving a car up from the East. From here we held them off across the river for the rest of the round. .....As GER we held our position south of Field and harassed them for a good long time. We eventually moved in and took the flag. They put up a hell of a fight though. We took a bunch mortar spam, tank rounds, and dingo fire holding that flag at first. In oder to put a stop to that some of our squad members closed the distance between Field and Radar Station to mine the roads and clear the mortar. From there we took Radar Station.

Re: TG v FFTF 20th April
I would also like to take the time to thank everyone for being so respectful after the win. There was no gloating or "pwned" type behavior. Everyone acted real mature and that is what we are about!

Re: TG v FFTF 20th April
Well, it was non stop action today and I still feel like I drank 20 pots of coffee. Outstanding teamwork and effort by all today. Many thanks to all the guys that played so hard in my squad today. Nice recap Troublesome.
Also, excellent multi-squad play in Town with Sordavie's and Whiskey's squad. Town was intense. H2H Town Squad Troublesome, Raunchy Berd, Dirtboy, Khan, jmaker Berezne : Field Harassment Troublesome, Mercenarie, Vark, Khan, jmaker Again, Field was a non-stop struggle between waves of infantry, no cover, and the nasty tank across the bridge that would not go away. It was a great push at the end from multiple squads to get it back. Great games by all today. Everybody played full-on. Thanks to the CO's Khaerus, Whiskey Six and Namebot for keeping things coordinated on the battlefield. Last edited by jb4; 04-21-2008 at 10:36 AM. Reason: sp |

Re: TG v FFTF 20th April
A very well spent sunday afternoon if you ask. I raise my hat to both teams and to the guys in charge of the planning. HWTH was pretty intense in town with infantry armor chopper planes and arty all around.
I had a blast in berezene..... dont think I ever killed that much in a round. Special mention to my co-driver Mrbbq who was in charge of keeping the tank in one piece and to those well placed supplyboxes to keep the gun gunning. |

Re: TG v FFTF 20th April
Great job guys.
I hoped I will do more damage as a EF pilot, but it didn't happen - first because their Helos almost always stayed under SAM cover in a field between town and fishing village, second because I was constantly harassed by their plane, and finally it was my first scrim-way too many mistakes than usuall ( I think I had to drink a little before) still I hope I did some important kills (and yes, it was at list couple helo kills steal from me ) . As a MIG pilot I think I did not bad at all- trying to cover Namebot's 6 and help our helos, but as i noticed they didn't use ET as much as we did and their Tornado flied singlesitted (kinda strange decision). Also I have a question - why we didn't use Gepard? That made our life way more difficult. And at Berezine it was just pure fun. I appreciate all efforts from my squad-mates and even though I do not like assault kit I hope I managed to help u guys . And oh, I feel sorry we missed some action at radar. Was it that hot? When we came to help u it was over . (may be it was over because we came? ). As I thought Berezine was going not by the plan (remember, JB?) but we still manage to finish it in to our favour. And I would like to point that first time in my entire POE experience I saw haw important is CO role - really amazing haw all this coordination can turn the game.Anyway - thank u guys for this experience. Thank u FFTF guys. Looking forward for the next time .

The first Round of H2H before the server switch
![]() The mating dance of the Eurotiger is on of wonder and amazement ![]() Only played H2H good times, although I think I'll stick to PR from now on. I was more trouble than help.

Re: TG v FFTF 20th April
That was a great scrim. I was in Anvil's squad. We went to one flag in each game and kept it. the enemy managed to throw us out a couple times but always we easily won the flag back. There was some great CO coordination going on in the background, as we always had other squads helping as well as air support when we were in trouble.
The FFTF guys seemed individually really good to me. I got killed a lot, especially in the days leading up to the scrim. As a team they are not as good as us.
