Apr 23 POE

Great session last nite. I could stop thinking about that last round. Bernout and I were on and I think Bis was on the opposite side.

I tasked my squad to take Lumbermill first but the Germans got it first and after a few tries it was no way we could get near enough to get it so I switched the the southern Farm flag. Bernout and 2 other squads were working it hard and another squad was working Lumbermill. Our ticket count was dropping and we were bleeding. We were quickly down by over 100 tickets. The Farm flag was taken by us we got and defended. Down our tickets went. I moved my guys to the center flag and we took it. We went into defense mode and held on. Time and time ago we got attacked we kept it. We lost it twice and re-flipped it. I hid most of the time and my squad was fanastic. I got found twice and both times I got revived.

Thank goodness Bernout and those two squads kept holding on to the Farm flag. The Germans bled and bled and eventually we completely turned the ticket count over and won with about 40 tickets in advance.

My squad was a bunch of happy guys...in game text messages were of "joy" and were hiliarious.

Nice to win one like this in a while.

That was a good round for sure...the map was Orel of course and took place about 10 pm eastern. It looked like a goner for the UKR until we got Church and Farm under our control and managed to hold onto them (for the most part).

My squad leader was Fudd and he did a good job staying alive since we got quite a lot of pressure at Farm. Goat and his damn AP was driving me crazy. lol

Unfortunately I didn't get a screen capture of the final results but definitely a good round...have to love those infantry maps!

Now if only the server population would pick back up a bit. It's been lower than normal since the scrim on Sunday...perhaps people are taking a break?

Good AAR, though. Bums me out I quit playing before this map... I never quit before an infantry map! What's wrong with me? Ah, yes. The sun. I had forgotten. I need some more.

That was an awesome round.. Nagin, great job keeping us together. IllicitFilms was putting heads to bed on that round.
