Qwai River. Amazing Round

The round was so flawless I just had to post about it. Two squads coordinated as one. A Tank and Infantry squad. Led by |TGXV| Gunner-of-doom (Armour) and |TGXV| Ollie_fool (Infantry). Both squad rushed to Mine, meeting the USMC's first advance perfectly. The tanks cleared the way as the infatry began to set up defences. We dug in and although we lost a tank, the teamwork of both squads managed to hold mine for the entire game. Never letting the USMC forces even close to the flag. Over the chat our team were saying comments such as "I love this teamwork" and "Look at all these guys here!". Here is what it looked like (The infantry were spread throughout the hilltops).

I took this picture later in the game after the infantry had spread into the surroundings. But, it was really neat to see 10 guys all taking cover behind sandbags with 2 tanks providing heavy support, all defending a flag, while our whole team swept across the map with little to no resistence.

These rounds remind me why I play TG.

click on battlefield 2 and look for the forum topic after action reports. That way you can submit a detailed summary of the round etc.

Hehe, I remember that round! I was in the infantry squad (Ollies) and I shot down an enemy lb with a LAT... it killed the pilot only however the actual LB was still intact! Greatest round ever!

I was SL of a squad moping up the rest of the flags. That round was soo easy the only resistance we had was at Gov office. The guys holding mine was the key to the success. As much as I would like to take the credit for takin Gov office. I could not have done it if Mine was in US hands.

I remember this round too. I was the SL of the enemy squad trying to hold you off at GO. I was on the outside looking in, but I kept asking what was the hold up at mine. You guys DID really knock the snot out of us on this one. It was a great tactic, and very well executed.

I wouldn't be surprised to see this happen again, by either side. Estates could be considered by US for the same tactic.

Nice one!
