    Thumbs up Infantry Night AAR

Ok Gents, I don't know about you but I loved it. The most memorable map was Qwai River in which we (PLA) won by only two tickets. Got some good infantry fighting and some awesome firefights which literally lasted 10 minutes at one point. Thanks to everyone that showed up!

Is this something that we want bi-weekly?

    Yes, for sure.

And lets add Sunset City into the rotation too. It's already basicly infantry, not a whole lot of modifications needed

    Re: Infantry Night AAR

It was fun and different! I too want to try different maps, to mix things up. I also felt we were unprepared for the infantry-change bit, so i think atleast i need more practice and time with the maps to get a feel for the change and different tactics on them.

And i must commend our whole team for keeping cool under that Qwai River-round we won 2-0. We were under 20-30 tickets from a bad start, but went on the defence and got more kills in that way to secure the win. I apologise for the text chat spam, we got bored and silly defending temple.

All in all, a very fun night! I also liked playing primetime US, i don't get to do that often anymore.

Thanks for organising it guys! I really appreciate it.

I think infantry night was great.

Here is my opinion for future nights...

I suggest we do maps that are usually NOT infantry based, and forget the ones that are already.

This will allow us to try maps with different gameplay styles, and avoid playing "The same old map".

For example, Al Kufrah with "Infantry Night" turned on would be very different than normal. Usually it's just a slugfest between the tanks.

    See what I mean?

Qwai was a fun map, and im sorry to my team for losing it for us (read commander). but when we had capped estate we had a 20 ticket lead and didnt go on the offencive again, they simply outgunned us, too bad.

And I would love to have this become a regular event.

It was superb so thanks to all involved. I would be very happy to see this as a regular event. Can we start it a little earlier sometimes so that the Europrans can play more of the maps. I had to call it a night/morning after several epic rounds but it was worth it. Don't know about anyone else but I think this improved the maps no end, or at the very least made them play very differently without the vehicles. I loved it, Infantry only gets my vote for a regular slot.

Yes I love it, love it, love it. Even though we lost the Qwai round and it was a personal worst for me. (2 kills 18 deaths) I would do it again.

I have video coming up from that round. We pretty much held the temple flag half of the round and got very bored there. Our squad leader started singing, we made smokegrenade turkish steam sauna in our bunker, we did some TG-7th stuff (well I did), we imitated the british and so on... Flag got attacked few times and if we wouldnt have been there they would have capped us out very fast.

Big thanks to you guys on PLA working us to win 2 - 0. It was really even match and USMC did very good job, but not good enough

I'll second that Elemanoel we had a great squad and a great round. Massive infantry firefights that were really tooth and nail affairs. More of the same please!
