Re: TG vs. TTP AAR
I have to give a big thanks to my squad mates BandaidBandit, Bullseye2550, Danolboy, xsoldier and special thanks to Ghostdog for filling in for warlab at the last minute. They were so easy to manage. All I had to do was point them in the right direction and the rest took care of its self.
On the second round I did a bit of a test. As Squad leader I went engineer and let the rest of the squad crew the tanks and AAV. I think it worked well. I was able to spot targets, put attack markers on enemy targets and fix the tanks when needed. When the tanks got knocked out I could still mark targets on the map for them. It made it so they had accurate enemy references while bringing up new armor to take them out. For example we had one enemy British tank west of Village. I marked it on the map and called it out on TS. Katanama took his squad and hit it with a HAT kit. The tank moved out and closer to me, so I snuck up and C-4ed it. At that point my tanks had arrived and hit it with one final shot and took it out. To be honest I think that tank crew had no idea what hit them, since they got hit from three different angles.
The only thing I would like to have added with my second round test would be for each tank crew to have their own TS channel to talk to each other. So many times I heard the CO Charity Case talk and had to ask him to repeat himself because of individual tank crew chatter. Chatter was kept to a minimum but some times you just need communication between the driver and gunner.
I would like some feed back, so if some of my squad could comment on my second round test.

Re: TG vs. TTP AAR
1st round I believe was 232 - 0 and second 128 - 0 for TG (not 100% sure about the numbers though).
It wasn't the most fun scrim I played at all... their server was worse than any server I ever played Qinling on and I should 've been in bed before the scrim even started (stayed up till 7AM). The server acting out and my 150+ ping weren't the best combination, especially since my job was AA. Most planes were gone before I could even lock on them, it was nearly impossible with all the stuttering and delay, so most of my kills came from shooting down infantry.
Special thanks to Masterjack for running such a good tank squad, even with the Chinese crap tanks, they pretty much overpowered the Challengers. Also wanna thank the squads at Mine to get the bleed on in the second round or I wouldn't 've been able to sleep at all
.
Good game, but even with 80+ FPS, it wasn't a pleasure to play.

Congrats on the victory guys. Most well done. Any word from the other side of the camp?

Re: TG vs. TTP AAR
I completely agree here. We had 2 tanks active in the 2nd round. When we weren't attacking or being attacked it was ok. But when enemy movement came around, I had a hard time trying to communicate with my driver. It was manageable, but is there anything we can do about it in the future?
By the way, that was my first scrim and it was, without a doubt, the best time I've ever had in PR (minus the lag) as far as coordination, teamwork, and execution. Thanks to everyone!

I'm Back.

Re: TG vs. TTP AAR
Wow...all I can say is wow!
Everyone did an outstanding job last night. I have NEVER seen a team more smooth than our Brit team last night. Our communications were steller, our Squad Leaders were superb, our Squaddies shined! What made last night really fun was the fact that the WHOLE team had to rely on someone else. There were no individuals last night...just one team.
Enjoy the victory gent's...well deserved! But don't get too cocky,we still have another leg to play in a month and you know that they will be seeking some revenge!
I will get the BFR's to everyone as soon as I figure out which ones are which.

Re: TG vs. TTP AAR
The lag was so bad that the laser designator stuck to a tank fell behind for a couple seconds, causing my rocket to go to the wrong place. Had to do a second pass and we got him

These are from the second round with us as chinese, I forgot to do the first round sorry, anyone else?

Re: TG vs. TTP AAR
Sorry I left. When I hopped into the jeep to come repair the lag monster ate me...
I tried to rejoin, game froze at 62% loading, black screen, reboot.
Tried again: PB Kick
Again: PB Kick
Restart BF2: PB kick
Rejoin: PB Kick
At around this time I was A) frustrated and B) worried me leaving and rejoining a million times and auto-joining chinese was looking bad so I had to throw in the towel.
Today I was playing with settings and trying to figure out why all of a sudden PB was breakin itself. Turns out the anti virus I installed earlier in the day was flagging PB as malicious software... The reason I could join the first time was I had already disabled it to play Age of Conan :\ Sigh... Sufficed to say that Anti-vir is gone now.
After reading the forums here and on TTP Im really disapointed BF2 refused to work
But it sounds like everyone did a great job
Awesome work guys.
