I had a treat SLing Rockford, Anvil, Gahlas, Mcice and cpt. capper on a round of Kerch tonight. Playing as the USMC, we first set off in a boat trying to take slums. Not good. A dozer was camped out up high and just tore us apart. OK, Regroup, told everyone to hold spawn. I caught an airlift from Phoenixfire, who for the most part of the map was airlifting people to whereever they wanted to go. Well done Phoenixfire. I got dropped off close too the commercial center. We helped out another squad capping that flag and then set off by foot to attack Slums.
This was one insane cap. Our squad went up against a well dug in opponent plus we were outmanned 2 to 1. I kept alive circling the perimeter giving my squad different looks at attacking the flag. We finally capped the flag and set up one of the tightest grips ive seen in a while. Rockford and Gahlas had the Northern portion of slums mowing down everyone that tried to advance out of their only flag, commercial center. Anvil was just flat out raining .50 cal on them from the west side of Slums. And over to the East of Slums, there were a few snipers or maybe just one watching our East flank. Once we secured that lockdown they just bled right on out. Our squad held probably a third of the map for most of the round.
Thanks to the E1st guys also for taking Keep with just two guys and defending that flag. That was crucial for my squads success.
