Wimp gets back into PR (finally)
After a long break (involuntary) from PR I was finally able to get in a couple of rounds tonight.
The first round I played was on Kashan with Emdek as the SL on the MEC side. We started out pushing into the small village in the south east. We encountered some opposition but were able to eventually push our way in. I got my first kill in forever while a guy was facing the wrong way.
We spent the rest of the round pushing into the bunkers under fierce fire. Emdek dropped during the round and Warehouse took the reigns. We pushed and pulled on the bunkers but were never able to hold them. My favorite moment was when Our squad was pushing in and the squad got wiped except more me. I was able to stay alive and ended up behind their line. I was able to get a couple more kills and make my way back to the squad. For some reason I absolutely love this aspect of PR. Trying to make my way back without being killed can be really immersive.
The second map was Kyang-Ni (gah I can't remember the name for sure so please correct me). I also can't remember the SL's name but he did a fine job and made the round pretty fun. We started out defending The southern most cap point and were later told to push north by commander Warehouse. for some reason I was a lot slower than the rest of the unit and I spent the entire round trying to catch them. By the time I caught up we had capped all of the flags and were pushing on the enemies main. The tickets ran out with us fighting a blazingly fast (for PR) battle on the river bank.
This was the first time I have been able to play in forever and I really had fun. My K/D ratio was terrible but it was great getting back into the thick of things.Retired 6th DB

Good timing, should be new maps out this month with any luck
Yea I know what you mean, normal games I get distracted but here its frustration vs involvement so long as you have some means to fight back its a great gameTrying to make my way back without being killed can be really immersive.
