    Ace's High

Wow what a match on wednesday night/Thursday Morning

Elmistro was awsome leading our squad to capture HeadQuarters is a very rapid fashion. He said he never SLed that map b4 but he was all over the commands and had us where we needed to be. The UKR team got the flag a few times but never for more then 10 sec as JB4, Elmistro, techno (2 others i can't remember) and I quickly defeated the attackers and neutralized the flag b4 they could respawn on it. Techno got 158 pts by the end 55 kills he was a beast and would be the first to jump into a building to clear it out. I was sniping on the hill and clearing teh roof tops and pointing out enemies to be dispatched :P Probably the best game i have played on that map. Props to the people mentioned and great playing with you guys!

And i was amazed that we weren't bombed by our own guys.. seems to happen alot on that map :P 2 flags and 45 ground pounders makes a mess!

    Re: Ace's High

The UKR team was a mess. We had a competent commander, but the team just wouldn't accept direction from anyone. My squad was constantly gaining/losing players. A player would join, find out that I expected them to do as told and then they would leave. I had one solid squaddie that didn't use a mic, but always responded to orders and executed them with precision. I've played a couple of rounds with this individual. I'll have to find his name (I don't believe he has a forum account). For a while I had Ishotcha and thagoat, I'm not sure what happened to them. thagoat helped cap Barracks and then took off for a jet to help out the team in the air (with my approval). Ishotcha dropped in a little later in a jet hitting targets as we marked them. He kept those pesky APCs off the beach.

In general though, the UKR team was in shambles.

    Re: Ace's High

The US stayed busy on the island. As we held HQ, most of the punishment came in the form of Ishotcha1 bombing us with the flanker and the UKR arty support. I think the UKR arty did a pretty good job hitting targets but the infantry push behind it always seemed to fizzle. We did get challenged a few times when attackers would bring anti-air to support the attacks. With lokka on the hill, we had pretty good warning for approaching choppers. Once in a while they would spit out a few jumpers, but they were landing in the middle of a full squad. ElMeistro kept the squad focused and as lokka said, we had good players following orders and communicating.

I absolutely LOVE the infantry fighting on this map... it's always intense.
