Re: My commanding experience on Qwai
lmao, great round. Best TOW squad I've ever been in. The thing that helped the US a lot was having thier armour constantly down. Marine, Google and I destroyed a total of 6 tanks and 5 APCs.

Re: My commanding experience on Qwai
Twas a fun round - we got our squad across the land bridge at the start with a CO truck, hid just north of north bridge from the tanks to pass intel to the TOWs. Left the CO truck without building and hid our rally. Several probing attacks on Fishing (including taking down the firebase by the barn for a bit) eventually led to success. Once we had reinforcements at the flag we booked to Estate just in time to take out one spawning soldier and get the fire base there down before more help could arrive. Once Estate was secured, we built a well protected bunker and solidified our position, acquiring a H-AT off the bunker. This proved to be a prudent choice as PLA armor soon counter-attacked. Between our HAT and the TOW squad were repelled those attacks and held Estate. We ended the round by patrolling near Fishing Village, engaging and destroying a tank or two and waiting for our JDAM to recharge for a final push on Temple which never came.
Good game all around - one of the better Qwai's I've played in quite some time.

That round was a long defensive round.
Very real though.
It actually felt like a scrim, due to the seriousness.
Good fun.

Re: My commanding experience on Qwai
I did commanding too on Qwai a couple of times. Having a CO greatly helps the tow team and organizing air transport. I think I only commanded US so far, somehow 5 times out of 6 I end up on the US side on Qwai.
I feel the real feat would be to command the PLA and lead them to victory on qwai.
