    Round endings that make you go : HOLY!

    Today we had a round on mestia as militia, and i was in warehouse's squad. Our team was pretty good, but we burned through tickets fast holding the two flags. As we got to 1 ticket, my squad leader said good game, and then the 'Theres a problem with your connection screen' Came up and i said Good Game over team speak.

    Back in .6 I think it was, I was Commanding as US on a round of EJOD. We had pushed the MEC all the way back to the north desert flag and close to advancing on MEC main with the ticket count dwindling, so I figured it was a clear victory. I called out in th epublic channel "GG, time for some fireworks" and launched the artillery on top of the MEC main which apparently did little damage...then the USMC ticket count started dropping below 10...I panicked...i freaked out...and we LOST, 3-0!

    Pwn3ge this stuff is perfect for the AAR section of the Battlefield 2 forums.........

    but it doesn't beat the unbelievable comeback of the USMC against the MEC on July 1st 2008(or it was July 2nd somewhere around those days), the score was 1-0, i still remember that as if it were yesterday and i still need to write some stuff up for people.

    I've seen only one other 1-0 score before, on an earlier version... the end game involved both teams dancing around each other afraid to commit to an attack for something like 15 minutes!

    Is it just me, or does the new "not knowing the others side's points" kinda take away the wow factor that this is going to be a close game?

    I guess it could make it bigger surprise @ the end. But it just doesn't seem to have that butterfly feeling leading up to the end when you knew the points. I've seen 1-0 scores probally 15-20 times over the years, and they are always a blast when you know its going to be a close game.

    Ejod had artillery on .5, not .6.

    There was a round of Sunset City not long after .8 was released that ended in 1-0 for the PLA. I was on the PLA team, we'd lost control of the city flag and most of our squad's assualt ened badly so we were expecting to lose badly but the 'Theres a problem with your connection' messaged appeared while we had 1 ticket left.

    First round:
    Shouldnt have commited suicide at the very end.. all blame on me... good thing it was only Skirmish >.<


    Next round:
    I dont even know what happened here.. maybe lag? If not, this is the most "HOLY" that it can get:


    Then after that round it was Jabal, where US won 4-0. (Forgot screen)
    Intese fighting overall today! Except Jabal.. that was kind of a yawn fest (for the Snipers at least)
