Kashan 32P - 9/29 - 12:00 GMT - Thank you for flying!
Effective CAS is for me so rare that I wanted to thank the USMC attack chopper pilots on Kashan 32 today around 12:00 GMT (Euro time). I think the support squad was led by Wrecking Crew, but there might have been another squad. The game only had 35-45 players which meant my infantry squad had a hard time trying to attacking/defending flags. CAS made it so much easier. Often we found ourselves unable to move as enemy AA or tanks covered the approaches to the flag. I called out the targets, lazed them and a minute later the squad was able to move up. Felt great!
When you are flying an attack chopper remember the guys on foot. We find it awesome to have active support by heavy assets and practically nothing is as morale boosting when a Cobra makes a strafing run on the enemy when you are pinned down. Or when you have the opportunity, make a low pass over a friendly truck with a infantry squad driving to the next flag. You can bet on it that the VOIP channel will be filled with "Awesome!"
Thanks!
And if someone happens to know how did the round continue? I had to go after 1:30-2:00 hours after our squad was about to control S village after we got back from a neutralised MEC outpost. The gameplay was good even with so few players.

See, this is the type of experience I pray for every time I load up a game. Wish I saw it more.
