Assault on mestia 7/12/08
Had an exciting round on Assault on mestia. I was militia with mp40 holding the storage bunker and another squad. We set up a bunker and defences. We had an faily easy time keeping hostiles out at first. But as the game drawed along and we lost control of munitions plant the situation gradually started to detoriate from intense fight to pitched battle, to out of control as the apcs rained fire down on us and more and more hostiles were forcing their way inside. The CO told us we would have mortars in 2 minutes however I was almost certain we would not hold out that long anymore. At a certain point I heared mortar shells going off all over the bunker. I did not see what happend, but after the noise of the barrage died down, it got very quit
.
There were no further assaults on the storage bunker and the round ended with small firefights away from it in the woods.
