Talking Oops... I did it again.

As previously reported HERE I seem to be developing an ability to lead squads to high scores... at least on Qwai. Like a good Jedi I have been studying this power and I have begun to increase my abilities... behold! Tonight on Qwai, with the expert assistance of one Charity Case on TOW, and several other stalwart squad mates, we were able to not only repeat our success of last week, but surpass it; scoring an astounding 12123 points. And bare in mind that this is with 1 man less than last time.

Though we had originally fancied ourselves a TOW squad, we would eventually have to divide our forces. For the first hour of the round we decimated enemy armor at will. However it eventually became apparent that our team lacked a serious (re: any) desire to defend its flags, and so what had started as a US road to victory with both Temple and Estate in friendly hands, became a brutal slugging match at Government Office with 70% of the team battling at Fishing Village and unable to relocate.

While we appreciate RoyalMarine for joining up, as his score indicates, he arrived moments before the end of the round. All in all, truly an amazing round.

EDIT: Ya I know we were a TOW squad and that makes the score less meaningful, but just keep in mind. Firstly, for most of the game there was only one TOW running, Charity and either Flash or Criminal were in it. And also, that there were only 5 people for the duration of the round, so the weight of the score is that much more narrowly distributed.

It was a lot of fun bombing around in those TOW HMMWVs. Although, I can see why the Devs are bringing down the TOW damage in the next patch. We must have blown up 5+ tanks and about the same number of APCs, plus an assortment of light vehicles. The round started with us rushing Estate and blowing up all the incoming Chinese vehicles, allowing our team to cap all the way to Fishing before the PLA got organized. Over the course of the round, I think we only lost 3 TOWs (barring a certain incident at the end of the round ). In all, it was a fun round with plenty of back and forth action between the teams.

I was just teasin yah :P

Nice score, looks like a great round. Pretty sure my 3-hour AAR'd kash16 round has your score beat, though (and with only 4 long-term members counted!) :P

I played in this game initally as usmc, I joined half an hour in and usmc had capped everything but estate and I was hoping we could push them off that flag so we could move onto K valley.

Unfortunately I got team switched to china after a death and usmc were eventually pushed back, almost all the way to Mine.
Which is when I saw the tank heading back to office from mine and also the Chinese scout heli lying spare.

Knowing what usually happens when the tank becomes isolated, I was going to scout the tow but they died before I got in the air

I decided to video the last few minutes of this game as the TOW approached another apc and I attempted to attack/distract them in the heli.
The last couple of minutes of this game the Chinese had 10 tickets or less

If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have obviously failed to plan properly.

Very proud of those 3 guys

    Four man squad raising hell.

Isolated, waiting for re-inforcements and took on alot of key players from the opposing team right on the enemy citadel. Where the opposing team was swarming.

No steroids, simply one of the best squads I've played in, all looking out for the other, all making sure the other is ok. And in a humble and fun outlook aswell.

Very proud of those guys indeed. I hope you guys get the credit you deserve.

Oh noes, the urine test came back positive >.< Iam still keeping my gold medal. From my cold dead hands.

I knifed a bunker that somehow self destroyed itself over and over which netted me more points I think. But even so we would have had like 18000 or so.

Disco you seem to have the gift, good AAR from your personal perspective.

I think you and my friend My Name Jose Jimenez have some things in common, hopefully he can join your squad soon and help you reach more high scores, I think he can because he is an astronaut.

Hahaha, Ok so I guess I was kinda tooting my own horn. What can I say? I got a little excited. Bottom line, it was a great round, and a lot of fun, and that's what really counts.

If anyone remembers the .75 TOW damages, that's what it's going back to in the next release. I'm glad, because the current damages make tanks a 1-shot kill. Reverting to the old damages will bring back some of the challenges in TOWing.

Nevertheless, I'm glad to see some quality TOWing going on lately. Good job Disco.
