AAR for Mech Inf on Ejod Jan. 3
Thanks to Bosco, hootiemcboob, aus-trooper, bones, and Sandiford for a great round of Ejod Desert!
Google:SL
HootieMcBoob and Bones: BRDM crewman
Sandiford: Engineer
Bosco: Medic
Aus-Trooper: Rifleman/Rifleman AT
We were on the MEC side and I was pumped to finally play Ejod 64. We took one APC out which Hootie gallantly flipped on the first burm outside the base. No worries though, there was still another BRDM waiting. We took that one out and went off to defend West City. We set up in the burms/dunes directly south of the city, here we were able to give the APC a great hull down position.

A HAT missle came flying at the APC only to hit the burm behind which the APC was hulled down. Here we were able to hold off an infantry squad from the west, as well as destroy several strykers and CO trucks headed through gas station. When our team capped East City. We were able to provide a lot of fire onto Gas Station. During this time, our APC had to rearm. In the process another APC was flipped. It wasn't a problem, bones and Hootie walked back to main to pick up another tasty BDRM. Aus-trooper also had to leave during this time. After our team capped Gas Station, we moved up to the raised road that goes through gas station. This provided an excellent hull down position which stopped a TOW missile from destroying our APC. Several minutes before the round ended our APC was destroyed by a .50 cal. These were the only 2 casualties the entire round. Great job guys!Googol

Wow, sounds like one amazing round and proper use of the apc with infantry. Amazing that the infantry took zero casualties.

That's the reward of good coordination and leadership. 2 casulties is an amazing achievement. Also luck at times.
