Operation Tunnel Defense.
Defense.
The match started out with everyone being full on squads, so I began my own. I was joined by |TG| csxgamerz and Diligent_BF2. We joined Squad 2, being led by [canuck]C.o for defense of South entrance. We all aimed our guns at the door, waiting for the assault. We waited in silence, our hearts pumping hard. Suddenly an explosion on the door. Someone hollered contact. Our squad opened fire, providing cover on Squad 2's retreat into a better position. I became wounded and was promptly healed. We took up a second position watching a door with squad 2 behind us. We kept the enemy at bay again, delaying them as Squad 2's IEDs wiped out a good amount of their team. We took grenades and smoke and a hail of gunfire. We ended up distracting them enough to provide time for the north gate guys to deal with their fire before we were finally overran and Squad 2 took over our position.
The round changed and we became Russian. My squad joined me again and it was decided that we would take point as we were nominated. I gathered my squad again and gave a speech, motivating our squad with a good speech about how the Russian government will treat our grieving spouses well after our deaths. We began our march, singing good "marching to our death" songs as we went. ( I sang Katy perry's "I kissed a girl" but my squad ended up shooting at me to get me to stop.. ). The assault began after we attempted softening the defenses. We rushed in first, with my body at the very front of the line. I was filled with bullet holes as with the rest of the team. We ended up spending the rest of the match at main, making firing lines and having our squad run through the hail of bullets.
New map, new operation.
Operation Upstream was fun. We accepted the job of pirates on the defending team (China). We took the single boat at restart/live and rushed over the waterfall to land on the actual shore. We all screamed out in agony and it was followed several times with phrases such as "FAILBOAT!" and such. We ended up getting the boat off the land and back into the water. We made our way past the second waterfall and after doing a barrel roll, we finally got past our defenses and into open water. We became engaged with three boats from the enemy team. I kept the rest of the team updated on our situation as kilGORE provided accurate SAW fire and the rest of the squad provided excellent small arms fire. We received only one casuality and ended up distracting the boats long enough for the team to deal with the others. It was the most fun I've had in a while.
Game was restarted and we were on the assaulting team. We split our squad into 3 boats and the plan was to be anti-pirate defense (AKA, USMC Coast guard). However, google nominated our squad to be point (yet again) on the assault. So, we full-heartly agreed. We sped our boat to the front of the line. Our gunners began to spit out heavy fire at the shoreline as tracers and AT rounds flew past us and hit our fellow boats. We manuvered our boat into view of the enemy defenses and suddenly two .50 cals lit our boat up and we were instantly destroyed. However, it was all fun.
It was all fun and I enjoyed it all.
BTW.
Someone told me I was one brave mutha.
I replied "I'm made of the strongest Tonka plastic, nothing can hurt me."

These are PNGs.
dunno why they came out so dark, look 100000x times better on my screen.
Our kozelsk Squad.
Fuzzhead looking awesome.
16 boats= Win.
Moar BOATS!
Not enough boats.
Please put Operation Barracuda AAS16 into regular rotation for a week, think it would be alot of fun.
There is a vehicle depot and logistics trucks that spawn on the island once you capture the first objective, which means its very possible for USMC to win.
Eight months later I finally received the reports from three peer-reviews on my latest manuscript with the University of Toronto Press. This will be my third book with the same press and the second...

Rage makes a great case for using the VR as a place for training as a sniper. Virtual training rooms for training in virtual warfare.
