Don't worry Wicks you didn't shorten the game by much I saw the Cache 2-3 seconds before your IED blew and if it had blow 3 sec later I would have died because I would have been standing next to the cache.

Fuzz I forgot to write that we actually had the Lynx on teamspeak. Namebot was flying it and mat552 was the SL. To quote someone on the insurgent team "whoever is flying the lynx you have a fourleaf clover up your a**".

When we were moving back to base and at the base reloading we were figuring out the plan of how to get to the next cache so we had a pretty good idea what was going to happen. We usually went somewhere and deployed a FOB and then moved on the cache from there. sometimes a few .50s and some wire was built and that was about it nothing fancy.

Yeah he could have informed new SL's what was going on but even if they had been willing to play ball I think that they would not have contributed much if they were not on TS. It would have taken too long to bring everything by the CO and we would just have stuck with the squad that were on TS and they wouldn't really have been included. At least thats what I think that I would have done.

Yes the SL of the scimitar would probably have been the right person to lead but hey it worked well the way it went.
If people are becoming so bored when playing that they have to resort to this immature behaviour I will give them something to do, call it a project. The project is "appeal a ban". - Wicks

Here's a video of the big red explosion. Unfortunately I only make full gameplay videos, so skip to 5:05 for the big red explosion.

Watchable in HD if you go to the actual site.

Out of all the times I've played CO and seen CO being played, the best times are when you have a ground "leader" leading multiple units using TS/vent (thats not the CO).

This guy can report to CO and lead effectively the ground units, while the CO can see the "bigger" picture and also deal with logistics support etc..

Anyways was a good round, will be happy to play like this in future but I wouldnt write off the CO position during this type of organised game, it is still highly useful and (when done right) can only add to the organisation rather than be a hindrance as some players are suggesting.
