Apr 29 Operation Barrracuda 64

This was one of the most intense games ever of CAS for me. I ended up with a 42-0 K/D.

The 2 CAS Pilots were |TG| CsxGamerz and I. Our spotter and SL was |TG-31st|Mr.Bob_Vila.

We started out without a Spotter. |TG-Xth|d1sp0sabl3H3r0 was sending us lases and we were hitting the beach quite hard. We began to rack up kills. We got about 10 per chopper until Csx crashed due to lag.

At this point i was on my own and had been shelling our missle after missle. After i had reloaded i had another target that i needed to take out. By this time |TG-31st|Mr.Bob_Vila showed up and was the SL. He gave us some lases and we had began to pound the beach objective. We slowly took it out. First by disabling the AA gun and then killing off the infantry and finally the firebase. In one run i estimated killing over 10 enemy infantry.

After taking out the beach objective the infantry moved in and began to cap. By this time we had lost the other flag. We began now to focus our attack onto the Supplies area. They had set up a firebase in defense and we slowly but surely took it down. We took out atleast 2 command trucks and 3 FAV's during this time.

After we had done our runs it began to got slow and finnally the game had ended. This had not ended until CSX and I got orders to strafe a moving FAV. We dove in towards it as it tried to manouver away from us. We unleashed our missles and destroyed the FAV. On our way back to main the game had ended.

n the end we had over 70 kills with the choppers and only one death between us 2. Csx ended up with 27 kills and one death. I ended up getting 42 kills and 0 deaths. Not only was the kills amazing but how many fire bases and assets that we had destroyed. Whenever we got a target within a minute we were airborne and attacking it. I knew we had saved many infantry sqds lives by what we had done. The teamwork and coordination was great. This couldnt have be done without |TG-31st|Mr.Bob_Vila and |TG-Xth|d1sp0sabl3H3r0.

***If you were involved in this game i would love to see your sqds stories and how life was down on the ground***

**Video to come**

Re: Apr 29 Operation Barrracuda 64

This was a great round. I'd like to first also compliment the trans pilots, as they did a tremendous job bringing troops and supplies safely and smartly to the island. Crates were dropped where we requested, and I really think all of our pilots did tremendous.

For my squad, we started out getting a lift to the docks area and then proceeded west along the coast from there. We initially took up position on the small island in the river mouth where I had found a good spot to send in laser targets for CAS while having some cover. I directed several strikes onto the enemy at swamp from there while the remainder of my squad hunted enemy rallies to the northwest of the swamp flag.

Once the area was secured, we moved in to cap. I think the PLA counter-attacked us briefly, but we eventually overcame that and took the flag. We then proceeded west along the coast to the beach front flag to start the process all over again.

We took up position on North Rock, where Bob and I provided dueling laser markers on the ample targets at beach front. There were far too many targets to laser, and the CAS boys sent so many bodies flying into the air. Again, after fighting a small skirmish in the tunnnel complex north of North Rock, our squad moved in to secure beach fortification when CAS was done obliterating everything there. It was a relatively easy cap again and we quickly had supplies delivered on the spot by the trans pilots and secured the area with a fire base.

We concluded the round by moving north and east through the jungle, engaging small bands of infantry in fire fights, winning all of them.

Great round to those that played, and especially well done by WarPig and csxGamerz! Top notch flying guys!
