Basrah,Quinling and Barracuda (07/05/2009)
would like to say thanks for everone who made these rounds really fun and intense.
I was in an apc with orpall for basrah working along side the other apcs and inf squads we were able to take 4 caches in quick succession, unfortunately due to other circumstances we were lower on tickets that hoped. with 2 caches to go we unfortunately ran out of tickets. However was still a very ood round.
Quinling was fairly fast. i ran a tank squad that took out a fb and scimitar before being ambushed by some challengers. Turned into infantry and heli dropped near farm. i lased a few targets for the F-15 which were dispatched with quickly. capped the flag to win the round.
Finaly barracuda ran in infantry squad and capped beach with out any trouble. Held there for a while taking care of a few minor fire fights before building a fb and moving off to docks were we helped bring in cas support and finaly with 2 other squads were able to cap it. we held there while other squads moved on to supply, were we were to be air dropped at supply but the flag was nearly ours so we moved onto silos. Meeting little resistance we moved down to the silo bunker and took care of the few infantry in their. even trapping one behind a door! We capped the flag as the rest of the team swarmed in to mop up any last survivors.
over all 3 very enjoyable rounds

I was in Chrisweb's Infantry squad during Basrah. Really good round with great teamwork. APCs were offering great fire support and transport. Too bad some of the other squads were losing tickets needlessly in the city.

That was an awsome round of Basrah and like Rtoups said the apc firesupport was awsome. With the squads that we had on TS and mumble we were able to kill many aches with very little losses but the rest of our team just kept dieing needlessly. To anyone in my squad during Basrah that was an excellant job even though we lost a few members due to SM kick and having to go.
I only stayed for the first 20 mintues of Quinling before I had to go but by that time it looked like our team had it won already.|TG-69th|chrisweb89
