Re: To the BlackHawk Squad on Mashtuur City Map
I faced a full MEC chopper lastnight, engineer repaired and all I think based on the amount of AT hits it took. It was hovering near us just like a BlackHawk too It was firing at my squad that was on the roof while my squad was firing back.

Re: To the BlackHawk Squad on Mashtuur City Map
well its a common observation that the US coalition is a tiny bit better. May it be by choice from the designers, or a mistake because they use technical charts to balance everything.
But overall, i play medic. If we are on a defensive position, i like having my M16A2 because its very accurate from a long distance, but if we are assaulting, i like the AK better because its more powerfull and has Full Auto.
In all, i think its mostly a matter of learning how to use what you have... Although i do agree the BlackHawk is a bit too powerfull.

Heh I'm not saying the BH is too powerfull, it has its weaknesses, If it had to maneouvre to avoid fire like it should then the miniguns wouldn't seem so overwhelming. Its the hovering there in safety that makes it deadly.

1) It's 15 seconds. Plenty of time for a few .50 cals to do the dirty work. Plus if your continuosly spraying down the cabin their just going to die again once they respawn. If your seriously trying to down the Blackhawk with anything but the unlocked sniper rifle, I have absolutely zero sympathy.

It's a death trap on all the other maps. What your proposing would make it absolutely suck on 11 other maps and make it a bus on 1.
3) It will only take one squad working together to take out a Blackhawk. 3 .50 cals > 1 full Blackhawk. get 3 people driving 3 humvees/vodniks and 3 people on the big gun. That would be 3 cars with 2 people each. That one squad will down the BH
Gee, thanks. I never would have guessed that it didn't give a lock on warning because it's not locking on... yeah, I'm just THAT dumb? Tanks reload faster than AT missles and do more damage. On top of that they have a machinegun thats constantly spraying while the big gun reloads. This isn't even considering the gunner seat.

The person outside the tank fixing it is just as vulnerable as someone in the crew cabin. Probably less so because hes got cover from about 170 degrees. I don't even think the miniguns damage a tank, if they do it's not by much.
You guys want me to prove it? Next time we have a password server on Mashtuur City you can make the BH squad and my squad of cars will cahse you guys all over the map shooting you down left and right. I'll even leave you the cars once I hijack your helicopter.
I really don't like being told that I'm taking the easy road to dominating a map. Any road to domination is easy so long as no one resists.
*EDIT* My city is about to be nailed by hurricane Dennis so its gonna be a few weeks before I can play. Twice in two years for Pensacola.

Keep this civil, ladies...
