Awesome games tonight!

Just wanted to shout out to the China/MEC teams. I ended up having to command that side for several maps and while we lost the first few, it was great teamwork. I do have to say that it ended on a good note for me with Daqing Oilfields. We (China) won with tickets of 1-0. I pushed us a bit far near the end and almost cost us, but my squads held in there extremely well.

The teamwork makes all the difference in the world, not only to the success of the team, but to the enjoyment of it.

Re: Awesome games tonight!

I was stuck as SL in that round because some people were not listening too well and were not giving out any orders on the US side. But when i got over being SL, the game turned out to be really good. We had a good commander and I had a good squad. You got that artillery in at the last second right on our position. What a game though 1-0. You cant get much better than that, well I guess my side could of won but WHAT A GAME.

Re: Awesome games tonight!

aaaah asch...

That 1-0 game I was the other commander. I was kicking your butt all the way throughout the map until you caught up at the end and when it was 10 - 10. I was shouting I cannot afford any more deaths. And then it was 7-4 and then 1-1. And bam. Chinese team won. Only if my last arty strike landed.

Anyway, Awesome games. Also shout out to my all squad leaders. Tarpan I put you in that middle coz i knew u would hold it throughout the game, sorry if u got a lil bored. Coz that flag is sizzling hot.

Asch it was an honor.

That was a great round. Would love to see a recording of the last 10 deaths or so.

Re: Awesome games tonight!

I think mine and Funked's squad killed the last guy to win. He was hauling ass in a buggy to our flag and someone popped him with a tank. That was an awesome map! Great gameplay.

Asch kept us awake with periodic artillery strikes. It got to the point where I was pinpointing their arrival within 5-10sec.

Yeah, I attempted to take that flag several times and realized you were hunkered down tight. So we pulled back and pretty much left that flag alone, except for those lovely arty strikes. I took great pleasure seeing my arty blast that center flag and seeing SmokingTarpan on the casualty list.

Ok now that's just EVIL.....and a tad mean.

But funny as hell in a sick and twisted sort of way.

Re: Awesome games tonight!

That 1-0 was awesome. My squad had just retaken the gas station flag from USMC but they wanted it back when I looked up and saw 10-10. I said "Everybody hide inside and DON'T die!" (of course that's just when I got killed!).

So we're in the station, shooting out at the attackers, and then the score was something like 2 (us) - 7 (them) and I was like, "crap, it's over" then we went down to 1... and next thing I knew the round ended and it said: China 1, USMC 0). Woohooo!! Break out the terriyaki dog!

Re: Awesome games tonight!

Those were some sweet matches, except for the occasional crashes. I too was lucky to witness the 1-0 match, and the last ditch effort with the buggy that didn't pan out. That guy was getting hit from at least 4 sides.

Also sorry to my squadmates if I kick out all of a sudden, my cable modem has been fritzing lately, it is very frustrating.

Thanks to admins for makin' room for me multiple times too!

Re: Awesome games tonight!

Great round, was in a small squad with Ghost and Nemesis. We fought the majority of the battle between 2 flags. Great squad and commander makes a huge diff. Thanks guys!
