Re: Private server goodness! Right now! Tues. 7/19

I believe that Monday would be a better day to make a private server night. This way, our 'private' nights are spread out better.

Monday (Private), Wednesday (Semi-Private), Saturday (Semi-Private)

Despite my lack of teamspeak, I thought last night was one of our better nights of gameplay.

I swear to God, I must have single handedly propped up Raub's score.

But then, Bommando proped up mine, so it's a wash.

Bo's big problem is that he rushes the sniper, and goes prone to line up the kill. All you have to do is aim at the ground, where his head is.

Every time he got me, it was because he KEPT MOVING.

My SM status lapsed whilst away on vacation... I need to re-up when I get paid this week. Sorry I missed it.

This is true. I'll play as a sniper sometimes...and every time an individual goes prone he loses. I'm thinking, "What was he thinking, proning against a sniper?!" That's the worst thing you can do against a sniper. You need to zig zag and change up how soon you change direction to keep the sniper guessing on where your next move is.

And if you're cheap, you can jump

Too true. Our coordination was....spotty at best.

The last map I played we had no CO, and noone wanted to step into the position. I thought about it, but since XP is giving me hell, I can't use my USB mic/headset. No vcoms=no CO.

The MEC had a field day last night: tanks leading the charge with your squad following....very effective. And of course, there was Raub, the Tank Gunner/Sniper Hunter/Bomber that made our life hell.

Good games though....

Re: Private server goodness! Right now! Tues. 7/19

That was fun, loved flying the bomber jet and taking everyone out... I did get a few Tk's but thats expected (Sorry everyone i killed)

And sniping was great, i loved sniping Mateo those few times. That crane had great cover when i was getting fired at, i must have got a good 20 kills up there protecting that flag with my squad. If only that ammo/health crate landed up there, i would have stayed longer, but i had to jump (And i missed my shoot do to lag)

Hope we can do this more often, i think its better than the password protected public servers.

That crane is a damn hard shot! I knew you were up there, even got it called out, but there was no way to hit you.

Re: Private server goodness! Right now! Tues. 7/19

I'm ok with the no artillery truce on the private server but I do prefer having a commander to coordinate attacks and provide UAV support and supply drops. CO should be able to fight on these games. Teamspeak is a good idea if we have no CO to coordinate squads.

I've created a vote for us supporting members to decide what day we would like to have an 'official' private server day.

Go here to vote. You must be a supporting member in order to access this thread.
