Marstein - Squad Leader

I tried a TG server for the first time tonight, and fought about two hours with Squad Leader Marstein. Good leadership, man!

I had a terrific time! Finally, I see what BF 2 is all about. I had great fun, and I saw what good teamwork (and a good Squad Leader) can accomplish.

See you all soon!

Regards,

Dag-Heine alias CoolHand666 or CoolHand(TG)

Cool Re: Marstein - Squad Leader

Welcome CoolHand! It's gonna be *really* hard to play on other public servers now that you've found TG! You have been warned...

Re: Marstein - Squad Leader

Thank you. My ID is pronounced "marstine" because I was not smart enough to pick a cool name when signing up and now I don't want to loose those 4000 points... When BF3 comes around they'll probably find a way to change you nickname.
I did not feel very comfortable being a SL at first, but it gets to you. It certainly helps if everyone is using VOIP. And it's much more fun to do things as a team.

Welcome guys make sure you check out the Battlefield 2 - Official Rules, Announcements & SOPs http://www.tacticalgamer.com/battlefield-2-official-rules-announcements-sops/ If you already did then good job. Glad so see we have some more squad leaders, it always seems like no one wants the responsibility so everyone plays the SL shuffle until some just takes control.

one of my pet hates, everyone has the ability to lead and must start somewhere, the only time id consider it an excuse is if you dont have a mic,

but anyways, welcome to TG! im glasd you enjoyed your first taste of the true battlefield experience the way it was meant to be played

Re: Marstein - Squad Leader

Ar! Yea, was a good time yesterday. I was in the Squad with marstein as SL for a while - a memorable part of the game for me was holding the TV station building. All good fun

Marstein; I was there when you didnt realise you were squad leader at first, but you took it on and you did great. I was never standing around thinking 'ok? whats the plan?'

now, _I may not have been palyin' ma best sunday on account of evil hangover from saturday ;P but was a good bunch of maps , cheers to the others in tha squad too
