Sunday 7/31 - Fushe Pass

I had a blast on this map Sunday night. I don't remember the names of all the squad members, but flux was the SL and ALapo was one of the grunts. We stuck together pretty well and mixed in offense and defense. We defended the western most flag on the south side of the river most of the game. We would occasionally push forward to the 3rd flag on the south side and run into Tarpan's squad. We had some nice little skirmishes on the road between. I think we were only able to knock Tarpan out of there once and then he called on the big boys from Tempus to rain down on us. The arty knocked us back and they rolled in with armor reinforcement.

And while we couldn't break through him after that, we successfully held our flag against armored and air assault. Good times!

Wow, that was a tough round for the US! We just could not hold flags at all, and were pinned down most of the game.

Great job to the Chinese as they dominated every aspect of the game.

I was a SL in the US side, but I had to go about halfway into the match, and it was tough. Good job to all.

Re: Sunday 7/31 - Fushe Pass

I'm guessing this was the round at about 11pm EST. I was in the Chineese squad that was defending the two west most flags on the north side of the river. We held those flags for pretty much the whole round against some pretty spirited assaults. At the very end of the round though a UAV revealed so many red dots we had to choose one to give up. I don't know why people think defense is boring. We had a blast and I love getting that AA vehicle and pestering jets that think they are invulnerable

Lots of great rounds this weekend.

Ya, china was furious on this map. I was one of the US squad leader leading the North West flag assults. Cream-of-Santa was sniping our members almost throughout the entire round. By the time UAV was on us, we know were screwed when 10 red dots appeared on our radar behind us.

I was China Squad 6 SL. We managed to hold on to the "Factory flag" (the one with the smokestacks, enclosed by ridges) for the whole round and that defense action got us top squad. The squad was just fantastic. The core members had remained together for a couple maps and everyone knew what they were doing.
You know how hard it is to remember who you were in squad with, but it seems like it was:
Jimbo, AntiVisual, TangoCharlie, LightningFury and URGH!!! one (or two) other(s)...

Roger that. We held one of the 2 flags in the NE the whole game, but the very northeastern flag kept getting taken by assaults. JohnCANavar did a great job leading multiple assaults with a small fire team/squad to clear them out though.

heh i knew you were the squad leader because every time i saw you someone else spawned right on you, so i was trying to kill you as much as possible. I got frustrated when i found out where you were, came to get you, only to find dirt. You should have stopped moving for me.

I would like to just say that Cream of Santa, although I disliked your bunny hopping at first. I am amazed at how badass you are at pretty much any aspect of the game. You always seem to be smoking people left and right whether in air or on the ground.

Cream of Santa is horrible.............

He just keep on killing me over and over again. I think we killed each other about 6 times in a row on Sharqi Peninsula, it was pretty funny.
