Monday Night Private Server
So, did anything happen Monday night on the private server?
I was on it for about 15 minutes at 8 EST, alone, until I gave up and switched over to server #1. I checked the server at 9:30 and it was still empty. Where did all the supporting members go?Telorn

There were 17 on it when I logged off after 11. I don't know how it went after that.

Bad turn out but still a lot of fun on the 16 player maps. I think everyone got off at about midnight. We need some more supporting members to show up next Monday.

16 player map? It was playing a 32 player map when I joined at 8 PM. Why was the map size increased, anyways?

Re: Monday Night Private Server
The 32-player setting was an accident, and we corrected it because there was too much empty space.
The turnout was pretty poor. I guess more heads-up on the forums would help, and also probably setting specific time for the festivities to begin, plus maybe providing a post covering details about the server settings so people know what to expect.
The gameplay was good, of course. But it's sad, because I think we have enough SM's that could show on Monday to fill up a 48-player server. (48 players / 32-player map : would be sweet.)"You live and learn. Or you don't live long."

Re: Monday Night Private Server
The server usually runs at 32 player maps, but we changed them to accomodate the fewer players.
And we could, if we wanted to, fill up the whole 64 player server.

Re: Monday Night Private Server
I liked the fact that the other servers admin message was letting the SM's know about the private server, because quite frankly I forgot, as did all other TG'ers in my squad.
Was fun though, even 7 on 7.

I got on about 8pm CDT and nobody there so when to #1. About 10pm it came across on TS to go to private but it was my bed time so didn't get to go. I sure was looking forward to a good game too.

Re: Monday Night Private Server
It was decided a couple weeks ago to run the server always with 16 player maps because no one was ever in it and 32 was just too large. I even saw that it was 16..even played a few games. Was that decision to run with 16 player maps nulled?
