    Voip Only 8/4/05

props to the NAVY SEAL squad leaders that were hiding in the harbor-water last night around 9pm EST (small public). I wish we couldve had some aquatic knife-fights after I fell in trying to shoot your spawnlings. I mean if you can knife a shark or an alligator in real-life, you should be able to use your knife in the water in BF2. Lame.

we did play some water-polo, which was fun.

Ricochet, Sassyone, KentuckyLiger, and Draco rule. nuff said. Im sorry I stole your knife-kill Sassyone, honest.

agreed they kept coming and coming...... smart work by that squad! I Luv this server! Everyone is freaking professional! Makes BF2 that much better, kinda hate playing ranked servers cause everyone is point whoring.

    It was 1stMIP (c-team) gentlemen

You guys did an excellent job defending that flag. It is quite difficult to turn that flag because it is an open one, approach is hard without detection... I talked to our commander and requested armor backup from squad 1. Guess what? Although our team had 2 armors sitting at their back flag, they did not come for help. And we were quite helpless against your respawning armor and welll positioned infantry...

No matter what it was a great time... That flag gave us a couple of offensive ideas to try for next time.

Kudos to our commander, he did a great job as well supporting us by spotting enemy, relaying my backup request to other squads and even flying in chopper to that flag and hunting a couple of enemies from the top of the crane

    <--- "tactical" point whore

CANavar, did you plan to skulk under the ladder(s) or was that sorta makeshift?

It seemed like there were two SL's in the drink, or was that just C-TEAM kicking so much ass that it looked like two squads?

It was only our squad, I got flu after spending that much time in water

HA HA HA... that was you then, falling next to me in water, I was frantically pressing 1, 2, 3, 4.... a weapon I need a god damn weapon ! It is a shame we cannot use the knife in water, it was going to be a great duel...

Yep, I was on the edge of the ladder when I saw one of you swim under the docks... "CRAP--I'm falling." (splash!) I was almost TK'd because one of your squadies was smart enough to swim right up and use me as COVER!!! classic! ROFL.

the walrus IS NOT a floatation device!

CANavar, word of advice: If 3 or more Kentucky boys (KentuckyLiger, Draco28, Rainofwalrus) are defending a flag you might want to consider a different flag. Havent you seen the movie, "Next of Kin"?!?

    Re: Voip Only 8/4/05

I was the CO of the USMC on that map(yoohoo313131). It was the first time I had been a CO on a TG server. I practiced on regular servers before I took the plunge on TG. I was really pleased by the squads I had. I had Squad 6 defending the South Docks all game. Twice I had him break off to help Squad 4 take the Maintenance Building, while still leaving 2 men behind to defend. When I did scans, I saw those navy seals in the water and did a spot on them, then told the SL to clean up his base before he leaves. He had alot of cleaning up to do. I would drop supplies in out of the way spots or in front of attacks and letting my squads know where they were.
I think the most important flag for USMC is the South Docks Flag that Squad 6 was defending. That flag spawns a tank, has a good anti air spot, is a good Squad spawn point, has great cover and is soooo much easier to defend than to take. That flag was my last line of defense if I needed it, which I never did. Squad 6 did an outstanding job.
I had Squad 3 defending the reactors flag all game. I think they traded it one time all game. Squad 2 did an excellent job of finally taking the Main Entrance flag allthough they kept taking a beating doing it. I had to send 2 squads and partial of another to take the maintenance building. That was the toughest flag to take and I believe I could have done a better job on that flag. I may have let Squad 4 down on that flag. Last but not least, Spec Ranger stayed in the Helo in Squad 1 all game to give support, good job Spec. Oh, and Squad 5 (1 man)was taking down their assets towards the end.
I scored a 118 on that map, and afterwards, I was drained of all energy. I didnt CO on the next map. Im not sure I want to CO on the 64 sever yet until Ive done the 48 a few more times.

nice work, yoohoo313131. We (squad 6) had a great time defending that flag! I have the battlerecord on file and I'll try to create some AVI's later.

I was part of that fireteam that was sent to help (4) on offense and I have to say (4) saw a ton of action... I couldnt keep them healed fast enough.

It's a very exciting battlerecord video!

OK. I just watched the BattleRecord for this match and it was !AntiVisual! using me for cover when I jumped in to spy on an aquatic C-TEAM! Ha Ha Ha. Amazing strategy as I was almost TK'd when they finally shot you. CANavar, my hat's off to ya, you were really hard to kill. Bravo!

Walrus, I would love to see that video. John CANavar said "That flag gave us a couple of offensive ideas to try for next time". In my humble opinion John, I dont think a crack squad can take that flag from an average squad, whos defending, and an average CO, who knows how to scan and spot. And Ill say this....Walrus had an excellent squad.

I just saw the battlerecorder and was laughing soo hard. Walrus, I had no idea they were giving you that tough a time. In hindsight, I should have had the Helo squad take out the SL. That would have been an easy kill and prolly taken the pressure off you a bit. But if I did that you wouldnt have had as much fun.
