Thumbs up Meritorious Service Recommendation: USMC Jets Monday night

Wow, I had the pleasure of flying with an excellent bunch in the 531-Jets squad through these maps:
    Dalian Plant
    Gulf of Oman
    Daquing Oilfields

TG-Santa (Who you know is Cream-Of-Santa - whatever that means)
TG Arf (A strong pilot and good teammate)
LGTrill (Never met this guy before - swell fellow)
RedTalon (Who joined at the end of Oman. I'm sure you've seen him before.)

We had the pleasure of flying against these able pilots (These are the only names I got during the battle):
    Shina
    Legato

These guys were outstanding on both teams.

All the guys in the VMFA-531 squad (who are not even IN the squadron!) had excellent teamwork, double-striking bomb targets, covering each other's six, giving everyone fair time in the cockpit, providing AA-support and target spotting while not in the cockpit, and ...
as a result, maintaining air superiority (from my point of view) generally throughout the maps (Dalian Plant was mostly 50-50). They did NOT achieve air supremacy, a tribute to the skill and tenacity of the opposing air force, but they DID sustain a stronger air presence than their foes, allowing them to rack up quite a number of kills and give strong support to the ground troops.

Special Kudos to Santa and Arf's determination during the Dalian Plant map when China put two J-10's in the air. OUCH! As if one wasn't bad enuf! (For those that don't know, the J-10 is the generally-acknowledged superior fighter plane in the game, with greater maneuverability and, I think, more agile missiles.)

LGTrill - dunno where this guy came from, dunno if he's a TG regular, but he might as well have been wearing the uniform, because he fit in perfectly.

RedTalon and I made life for the Chinamen in vehicles absolutely HELL at the beginning of the Daquing Oilfields map. We must have crushed over 20 vehicles in 7 minutes. Ouch. RedTalon knows how to use that bomber missile. And, you've likely already SEEN how he can use it while piloting.

'twas a pleasure gentlemen. If any of you are supporting members, let me refer you to this link:

Was that you that at the indoor Warehouse flag (Dalian Plant), hovering 10' off the ground and mowing down anything in sight?

It would have been one of those guys ... judging by the way I saw Trill take off once, I'd GUESS it was him...
But it could just as easily have been Santa or Arf.
