Santa blew up my APC

I think this was Monday night...

That was really weird! Look how high that APC got thrown in to the air! Right after the bomb hit, my screen did some really weird strobe-light type effect and I thought my computer had gone haywire. When things calmed down, that screenshot is what I was greeted with. CingularDuality had been in the APC with me so I have no clue how I got dinged for the TK.

Santa bombed us real good like

I'm reporting after the action, so this seemed like a good place to put my thread...

Your wild panicked screaming as your APC was flung into the stratosphere on top of the incredible G-forces caused Cingular to have a heart attack, thus TK.

Ahhh, gotcha, I was wondering what happened there! I had a different explanation that involved him messing his pants and dieing from embarassment, but yours works too

Either way, I got knocked the f out!

This was probably a once-in-a-million shot. Of all the times I've been bombed while in a vehicle, I've never had my screen do what it did that time. I guess the APC was rotating at some insane speed in the air. Pretty wild. I love the crazy physics in this game

While I'm talking about weird plane bombings, check out this picture. J.CANavar was killed by the F-15, then immediately afterwards killed by the [Mk81 GP BOMBS]. I've never seen that weapon show up in the game before. I was on the gound after being shot down by Xeil in my F-18 (most likely, he got me probably 10 times in Kubra Dam tonight, despite the MEC not having their airfield half the round), so I'm not sure if PhoenixxFire was the pilot or gunner at the time.

Perry, we armed Santa's bomber with nuclear warheads for that run. That explains the extra altitude.
I would expect more of this in the future - as long as our plutonium supply holds out.

The planes sometimes get weird names for their guns, ive seen something like 90mm cannon (or something, it was a while back). i assume thatd be the machine gun on the nose? ive also gotten random kills without even firing and it read that i killed em with a gun i havent heard of.

I sometimes get a message saying you were Yk'ed by bla bla bla
yet I didnt die

Id be flyin and it said I got Tk'ed

this happened like three times in a round

well considering this is my first post, im glad it had at least something to do with me (im a bit of a lurker on the forum). Perry i was the pilot of the F-15, and i was just doing a regular bombing run. It wasn't until you brought it to my attention the i saw the weapon that it showed i killed him with (IF i even killed him). and ive also had experiences with those random "you were killed by ...." messages". they always end up being TKs, too, as far as ive seen.

90mm? Way too big for a fighter. Maybe 20mm or 30mm. F-15's use 20mm. Weird.

yeah, the a-10's gun is massive as all hell, and is 'only' 30mm

it was something mm, couldve easily been 20 or 30. its also only happened when im in a jet.

On a somewhat related topic... I got a kill tonight while sitting in an FAV, but I never moved it or fired the weapon. It listed the weapon as FAV.

Hmm... now that I think of it, maybe it was an enemy FAV rolling over one of my AT mines. I got a ridiculous number of AT mine kills on the oilfields map.

This is the exact same thing that just happened to me! I did have a lot of mines out but really, what are the chances of FAV's being the only thing to hit my mines AND them try to bail out before hitting them.

i've NEVER noticed this problem until a few days ago, and now it seems to happen ever other game or so. where ill just be walking around and get kills with weapons my team doesn't even posses!
