great squad leader RAMBO 1st sept

Just had a fantastic time with RAMBO as squad leader for a couple of maps. I got teambalanced over to USMC at the worst possible moment, and ended up in a squad defending the TV station with DarkViper leading and unfortunatley crashed shortly after and called it a night.

Gold Stars to RAMBO, he was clear and concise about the plan and organisation of the group. We all knew exactly what we were supposed to be doing, and felt good (trying) to do it I didnt feel too effective, on an unfamiliar map in an unfamiliar role (i didnt mind one bit playing support tho', i ((obviously)) need the practise ;P) , but I did the best I could despite Santa repeatedly popping me in the noggin every time I tried to get into position to lay some suppressing fire. And regardless, I had loads of fun, and props to RAMBO for leading the best squad experience Ive had so far.

That was a great squad battle my squad and rambos squad had. I saw rambo on the northern hill and told my squad to kill him. Every time they did they reported it, so i figured you guys were down. Then about 20 seconds later i see rambo running back to safety, i guess yall had a really good medic. it was pure chance that we even ran into yall. i asked the co (tempus) if my squad could flank from the north, and he gave us permission. I was hardly expecting anyone en route, but rambo just had to ruin that.

Your squad leading was pretty good too Santa

I started well, but ended up not being able to hit a thing - that's what you get after attempting to play after midnight when you've been working hard all evening Apologies for my poor play later in that map.

Was fun trying to take that hill - they just kept popping up and we had to call it a day in the end. Enjoyed getting in position and laying down suppressing fire as support -- haven't really played support properly before. Found that suppressing fire works great from the top of a building, or from a window - if you can get your sniper to claymore the entrance, so much the better

I'm going to have to chime in here and give Rambo some well deserved props. Excellent job, it's amazing how fast he can learn everyone's name the kit he assigned them and weather they are red team or blue team. Also I like how he doesn't get flustered if things don't go our way. He just calmly collects the squad together and away we go for another assault. Those of you looking for SL experience or guidance try to find an open spot in one of Rambo's squads.

I played for like 20-30 minutes in Rambo's squad as a medic.... then my game locked up and i had to restart my PC
Was refreshing to play with alternative tactics, even if only for a brief while. I'd do it again

Cheers guys. It's really nice to hear that from you lot. On a teamwork server you join a squad to get immersed in the teamwork. Even on a TG server there are squads I join with no communication/co-ordination at all so I took it upon myself to change that and start leading.

I don't remember squad members names by the way . I have sheets of paper beside me with my plan for the map and I put down 2 columns for Red/Blue fire teams also plus each persons name and kit. It just means I can look at the paper and shout (Person's name) Move east to the incoming armour.

And yes do please join my squad. If I throw an invite your way please accept it because it means you're probably a good player and I WANT YOU!

    Kinda a bump

Rambo - was good joining your squad last night (if only for a little while). Look forward to being on your squad again
