Bombers beware, Legato is in the air!

i only got to play a few rounds tonight, but my Lord in heaven, i did something unprecedented given my lack of skill when it comes to arial combat.

yes, under the faithful guidance of Jep's mad flying skills, i, a lowly bomber gunner, downed another enemy bomber in the middle of evasive action.

we had been "dog fighting" (more like elephant fighting) for a minute or so, and we were running low on cannon rounds and missiles (not like those matter anyway). i had tried in vain thrice already manually guiding the missiles to the lumbering target to no avail, but on the last round in my clip and in the middle of a full roll, the nose finally passed the target and i let fly with a hellish TOW of the sky.

what resulted in what was dumb luck, was my kill tally being upped by 2 and possibly the first use of anti ground munitions to down a bird.

im sure he had no idea what hit him. there was no buzzer or warning other than the cannon passing around his cockpit. having just said this, i realize that strike, viper, xiel and santa will now be killing people left and right w/o the honor of even a warning buzzer, but oh well. it was my funniest kill to date.

Yes because everybody knows that we are the masters of getting in a bomber, flying around and getting in behind an enemy plane, switching to gunner seat, and hitting them with the laser guided missle.

I've hit 1 or two choppers before with the LGM but never a plane, good (dumb luck) work.

Oh wow, that was hillarious! I saw you firing a couple of missiles off earlier and I wasn't sure what you were shooting at; to be exact I was thinking 'Why is he shooting? He's not aiming for the jet is he? That's nuts/stupid.' But then *kaboom*, and all my doubts were gone. I wish I had a video of it, although in a recording it probably wouldn't be obvious that you shot the F-15 down with an air-to-ground missile.

But yes, sigh, I had used up almost all my gun ammo and missiles. One of these days I'll have to figure out how Dark Viper and the other good pilots actually manage to hit with those things.

lol, that's awesome.

We must all master this new skill and use it upon our foes. Imagine their fear in the next scrimage when they realize that even our bomber's gunners will own them in a dogfight.

mwahahaha

MWAHAHAAHAHAA!

I think it was Elite Ninja and myself you hit - on the Stalemate map. That was literally my first time as a bomber gunner. I was like 'we just got hit by what??'.

If Legato did, in fact, hit down you with a bomber missile on Songhua Stalemate, then he is indeed, a very amazing player.

Operation Clean Sweep

This was a worthless post. You just wasted 5 seconds of your life reading it.
