The attack choppers don't belong on this map. For every time I've seen them used effectively they are abused 100s of times to rack up kills on spawning troops.
Ooops, sorry, I forgot to mention you. In fact, I forgot to mention everybody who was in my squad on Sharqi but not in Oman - I didn't write names down until the end of Oman. So sorry to everybody I forgot!

As for that chopper... the MEC attack helo is the best anti-infantry weapon in the game. Its gun is nasty: it doesn't have the ROF of the chain guns on other vehicles but it does so much damage (and so much splash damage). Even Cobras don't last long if you're shooting at them with it. I've gunned in it before on that map and I know how devastating it can be as long as it stays away from the southern flag; you just hover over the north east flags and waste infantry running through the alleys.

I know there's been some discussion about USMC being able to win that flag without the tv station .. but I think that's only true if the MEC chopper isn't being used effectively. If it is and you don't have a cobra to keep it busy then it is just going to rape your infantry.

Re: Wednesday Password Night...

Last night was nasty as USMC. Pre-PW I had a great time, after password it was a nightmare; it was like someone flipped a switch and all of a sudden I couldn't hit anyone.

I do agree that the sides were unbalanced, I think at one point there were 2 TG-7th guys on USMC and 15 on Mec as an example.

Some nights suck, we'll just have to give it another go Sat night.
