9/21 18:00 Mastuur : Before Password Lock

Was playing as MEC and after the last Kubra Dam match as a TK fest, I wasn't really in the mood to play tactically. Additonally, there was only around a good 25-30 people on the server during this game. I get a hold of a sqaud and call it "ROFLCOPTER." That's right folks, the roflcopter. The Blackhawk in this map is highly effective if used right, so I decided to try and find how the roflcopter (seahawk..MEC's transport copter) could be effective. The guns are poor as a begger and can't kill any vehicle and barely anyone on the ground, so it's a waste to try and do that. We found out later, though, that the guns are pretty effective against enemy Blackhawks (though the Blackhawk is still much more effective).

We start off and it goes amess, but, if you know me, I continued at it until we could get this to work. Steel_Penguin took the driver seat as a support, I took the gunner(s) seat as a medic (switching back and forth when necessary for a good view of the surroundings), then we had two ATs in the back and an engineer to repair. If you haven't really noticed 4-5-6 on the roflcopter are all in the back seated right next to eachother, so if one of the ATs has a visually the other one does too. RATS_Delta started nailing things out of the back of the roflcopter with his AT gun, tanks, cars, infranty, it was great! Steel adopted a way to fly the Roflcopter (backwards onto the target) and we seemed to be pretty effective while laughing a good deal. A few times we preformed the roflroll and barely survived if it wasn't for the river being in the middle. There was another Blackhawk sqaud that we faced that was capping our main base. It was fun playing against them, and we killed their blackhawk a few times too (although I do say they probably knocked our roflcopter out a bit more). They hopped in the stinger a bunch to cause us to roflroll, but it was really fun. I don't think I have any of the screenshots we took, unless they save them in the BF2 folder, but maybe Steel saved a few of them?

Anyway..
How to fly the roflcopter with a squad like a blackhawk:
~Have a support and medic as a gunner/pilot seat
~Have two ATs and one engineer in the 4-5-6 seats
~Fly backwards
~Stay still as a pilot a lot more then often
~Learn how to ROFLroll.

I haven't tried this in a bigger game, but I will be doing it soon enough, as it was really fun to tryout.

Yeh that was great, we had a lot fun over the mics, AT's owned all.
The best was in the game before, on Kubra.
Bhack was trying to fly a plane through the dam tunnel so I and SteelPenguin placed C4 and blew him several times, funniest thing ever

I was having a lot of fun buzzing the knife fighting infantry as I flew through. Also, finding interesting spots to land the jets is my new passion.

didn't get any screenies but the roflcopter was fun. Those rolls were only the second time i have ever tried them with transport helo so i'm surprised i didn't end up killing you guys more. it could actually be a useful strategy for the transport choppers with a little adaptation. you could put a bunch of at and have them work as mobile armor removers or put a bunch of snipers and a stable pilot and use it as a mobile sniping platform. This does require a lot of squad communication as the pilot cannot see where he os flying and the rear passengers need to give the pilot very specific instructions. But i reserve the right to be called the originator of the flying backwards strategy .Thanks to the rest of the squad for actually making me and Dev's crazy plan actually work and i can't believe that we actually took down the blackhawk.Oh and Bhack, the first time i nailed you jet with C4 on Kubra, ROFLMAO.

Yeah Thez got carried away and then the whole thing got kinda lame. But the first few minutes were awsome.
