Wierd squad stuff...

Some wierd things happened last night. First, my squad had 7 people in it! Someone said it may have been because 2 people tried to join at the same time. Also after I left (I was SLing) there were 2 squad leaders! I got a screenshot of the 7 members but not the 2 SL's, though I did see that later when I rejoined.

....well, imageshack isn't letting me upload right now, but there were some other people that saw it, it was very strange.

yeap, had this too many times, also that 7th memeber will "apprently" continue to join and the leave the squad, the 7th guy is ussually someone on the enemy team and often shows up on your radar aswell as his name in the 3d environment,

I had that once and it was definitely the IFF bug.

It's IFF. I have seen up to 9 members in one squad, and I once saw multiple squads with 7 or more members.

Never seen the 2 SL's though.

Yeah I've seen all of those as SL. I've seen a guy that was on the other team showing up in my squad, I've heard that my squad members saw both me and another teammate as SL too. Lovely code EA has in this game.

It's the IFF bug. The weirdest thing that's ever happened to me was when I was kicked from a squad then tried to join a two man squad and it didn't show me as being in the squad BUT I had full squad leader capabilities like kicking and locking the squad.

Well....no....it wasn't an enemy in my squad. There actually were 7 people, on my team, in my squad. Then like I said I left and came back and it was the next map, and their were 2 SL's for squad 2. On the map there were 2 big "2's".

heh, yeah, i was in a squad once, died and was auto-balanced to the opposing team, but REMAINED in my original squad. i couldn't spawn on the squadleader, but i could see his green dot on the mini-map, even though he was now an "enemy". i couldn't join another squad until i left the old one, and when i tried i was unable to. i just became frustrated, left and came back and all was well with the world again. though if i had thought about it, it would have been interesting to spawn and go to where my old squad was to see if they still showed up as neon green...
