Great games everyone on Wednesday night. Especially Dalian and Karkand with a full server. I had 7th squads on both of those maps with about 8 or 9 people in and out. The games were top notch - I think one was 30 points and the other 19. That was probably some of the best BF2 I've seen in weeks, which is saying something.

And hats of to JMJ's squad - especially on Karkand. When the MEC brought everything in that big push across the river, B had the idea to slip in behind them. We got shut down that time, but after making it through again and setting up shop on the crane, you guys still held the main MEC base. We ended up falling back to the west and getting as many kills as possible, which squeaked it out for us, but we couldn't take the east.

If it wasn't so close, StupidAwesome had a great plan to attack you guys in the end, but it looks like we'll have to bring that back next time.

What happened at the end of Karkand? I know the MEC lost but I got kick/banned in the last few minutes.

Karkand was a great map. Once we got our vehicles into the battle the MEC started making a comeback. If we could've kept our vehicles comming I think we would've won but they spent a good deal of the round out of action. The killing zone strategy is something that definitely needs to be applied to a few scrimages.

Sniping your squad at the warehouse in Dalian was fun, you guys have attacked me so many times from that crane I decided to try it for myself. Then I got distracted by a 50 cal and when I turned back everyone was gone. I thought to myself, "hmm, something has gone terribly wrong" and barely turned in time to see 3 or 4 people comming to knife me. Good times

Yeah, Dalian at the western construction site was crazy. Jets, helicopters, arty, tank on the hill, apcs rolling in, infantry pushing in, felt like the whole team was out to get us.

I only got to play in dalian, and even before that ended my computer rebooted by itself. I was in beatniks squad defending the construction site and we did very well, and when we attacked it i knifed strag. I even PMed him to remind him Always a joy to knife a fellow 7th guy.

sorry about Dalian guys. By internet connection died. Was commanding the opposition for about half the map What happened at the end? You guys did a good job of holding that construction site despite everything i threw at you. Props to my squads for attacking/defending

lol Yeah I heard your rifle up there, and there was about 90 seconds left, so I told my squad to lay down suppressing fire and to NOT kill you while I climbed the ladder. I ran to the edge to go prone for the knifing, but missed and you turned around, falling off the crane. You got me after we parachuted down but I think fried was on it and got you. That was a great end to that match.

I knew my ping would be crap, so when I joined Dalian I made a squad called "ARTYDOWN" and flew myself (somehow I didn't crash!) over to the USMC's arty island and went to town. Then a couple people joined me.. We'd blow up the arty, hide from the Cobra and Blackhawks, get killed, respawn, and fly right back out there One time I tried dropping blankman off at the carrier but a jet rammed us as we approached.. Luckily blankman had bailed just before and was able to get onboard and have fun. Unfortunately, he quickly ran out of C4.

It was funny how much attention we were drawing on that island.. I know Tempus had to be keeping a UAV over us, the Cobra would always appear right after the arty blew and would blast whatever bunker I was in.. Kept that Cobra occupied and off our tanks for a while. Blackhawks and boats were landed on the island to track us down. Tempus was even nice enough to leave us a supply crate when we came back! It was fun despite my, at times, 900 ping

wednesdays are my only decent night to play...and i had one of my sticks of RAM go south on me before game time so i was performing diagnostic work when all the shenanigans were going on.

plenty of knife fights, eh? perhaps we should rename the PLA "Greasers" and the USA "Socs" and have a genuine street brawl.

We definitely need a knives only cage match. Two teams, no medics, and a whole lot of rage in one tiny little building! We could hold it on the Karkand bridge, in the Olive base hut in Oman, inside the the concrete towers in Kubra, inside the Essex the possibilities are endless!

Those maps rocked. I was getting tired by the time Mashtuur was loading up, was ready to call it quits, but couldn't leave without some revenge on the pilots from the previous round (Daqing). They don't get their aircraft, but I still get my tank!

Good, close games every round. Karkland especially stood out for me - no WWI standoff, but still came down to the last minute. The following round on Daqing was the most fun I've had on that map in a long time - we were defending the lower-central base for most of the round, the one right below Refinery. We held off some gruesome attacks, brought the flag back from neutral twice I believe, before getting overrun near the end.

Arf - you were a menace with that AT kit. Of course by the time i figured out how to combat your trick i never saw you again in that capacity (although Sassy did see the results).

Was good fun not being SL for a change, and being allowed to play in the tank. With Mirfee up top and leejo in the APC we were just cruising around the southern streets trying to combat the very effective pushes that the MEC made en force.

My squad whored the armor with the sole purpose of not losing the MEC main. I got a lot of your guys on the roof with the APC. Looking back, we probably could've won if we hadn't held most of the armor. We should've let some others ring up more kills with it. It was still a very close game, good job by our CO Diceman.

Even better was I got the last kill of the game, I hit B on that crane with the TOW from the flag just to your south. I saw everyone running around up there and when I determined it was hostiles, I popped one off with the TOW and nailed B......felt good after what you guys did to us at the CP where the attack helo spawns. You guys did an incredible job of defending that flag.

Did you like my suicide run on you? I had a jeep and just decided I was going to go in there guns blazing and see who I could kill. Felt like bonus points when I saw it was you

Great times! I sniped the construction yard twice and both times ran out of ammo. Karkand was fun although the first half we spent just taking out stragglers and then boom it got exciting. All I knew is that every time our squad turned around, there was Beatnik.

*cough* Uh, yeah. That was my first time in the dedicated jets squad. I think I only kamikaze'd 2 choppers. You did get the kill on that hit, though.
