Kubra Monday night
Had great fun at Kubra dam. roflthorax jumped in as commander and helped with UAV and scan, while my squad tried to take the MEC airstrip ("intake"). We took it and held it for a while but finally the USMC threw everything they had in there and got it back. I was able to find a good hiding spot for a while and we must have given them a hard time
We were a nice squad made up of (at the end)- Budahack (medic)
Clawhammer (sniper and groundpounder)
Rico
Vodkatonic (armor & SpecOps)
I was impressed how everyone was healed very quickly again and again, how people took up vehicles and how well oiled everything worked.Gigabyte P35-DS3R, 2GB, 8800GTS 640MB, Core2Duo E8400

Wow... Clawhammer pissed me off sOOOOOO much!!

He kept sniping everyone around!
I finally grabbed an APC and maneuvered it so I could get elevation on his hiding spot and got revenge!
I remember several times getting pwned by Vodka's M203. You guys took FOREVER to clear out of that CP!"You live and learn. Or you don't live long."

Re: Kubra Monday night
I had fun serving in your squad Marstein. You had great staying power as our SL while we were trying to take their airfield with 2-3 squads hunting us. I still don't know how they didn't find/get to you for so long. Overall we did a good job harassing the enemy and caping many flags.
At the end of the night, most everyone logged off at the map change, but the few of us left had some fun. Bommando warned us of DarkViper's intent to shock paddle him. Apparently this didnt help me as my m16 was usless (inaccurate) when he rushed me in the halls at the TV station flag and shocked me a good one. I quickly respawned and returned the shocking favor. Then we stalked about the map and each got a few more shocks and stabs on each other. Finally, as we were about to play chicken with shock paddles, one of his teamates was kind enough to land a gp30 on me and end our game.
Overall a fun night as usual. Shock paddle kills are hilarious.

Hey Bom sorry was not able to hit the targets as you requested somehow everytime you lined up the target I would hit a crane or something that prevented me from taking it out. Usually I would hit the the target but last night the TV guided missile would not go where I wanted it.
Oh yeah I do remember DV going after us everytime we lifted off the helipad that was really fun
. You were able to atleast get DV off of AttackHelo's asses for awhile that was good break from just dying everytime we lifted off.

As an SL on that map (MEC side) with Strikefear, wussypoo, and a few others I didn't recognize, as squad members, it was actually fun fighting for the intake flag on different occasions, each time taking it and holding it. I had been itching for a good ol' fight on the ground the whole round, and seemed to only be able to get it at the intake flag (on different occasions). I was already getting tired of flag whack-a-mole with only 32 people on the server (as I'm sure my squad was, too). We did manage to hold the intake each time we took it, but there was that time where it seemed to take forever to find marstein. But even that was still a lot of fun.

I'd also have to agree with a person on a different thread, that the intake flag on Kubra is the best (and most fun) flag to take and hold. The others are a pain.
Edit: From another thread, I guess Kubra is now a 32-player map. Still plays too big, imo, unless you have 64 people on that map.|TG-33rd|Gunrack

Yeah that was good times last night..... That battle over the MEC airbase was intense.....
