Date: Night of the 18th of October (around 1am CET)
Place: Karkand

Last night was for me the first propper round on the TG public server. I joined with my longtime tactical gameplay m8 |NA|Bluedust. We joined a squad and the round endend before we knew it. Next up.... Strike at Karkand.

The squad changed and Bluedust was squad leader, i was glad he decided to take the challenge. We were on the USMC side so the offence was up to us. We proceded to go up the right side of the map, but the MEC saw it comming and hit us back hard. After a few more jabs a change of plan was needed.

All at once the USMC team went for the long haul up the right side, suprising the MEC team. At this point tears came to my eyes... as i advanced up the hills i looked around, the ENTIRE USMC side was together!! I dont think the server was full so im guessing about 20 -25 men all together after the same goal. In all my long hours of playing this game i have never witnessed such teamplay. It realy gave me goosebumps.

We were almost at the top left flag (i still need to learn the flag names) when the MEC were on to us. Lucky for us becose if they had cought us in the open it would have been a slaughter. There the battle grew grim... the MEC occupied the top ridge and had the better position, but with good work from the USMC medics the squad leaders were alive and we finaly got the flag. The road to the north of the map was open.

Swiftly the USMC made there way to the north side of the map and the battleground shifted. After some long firefights and good defence by both teams the USMC was gaining ground. Eventualy the north fell into the hands of the USMC team and it was on to defending the bridge area.

After a firefight, my squad was sent to the USMC homebase to take the undefended first flags of the MEC. Again the MEC side was off guard and they were down to one last flag... It seemed that the MEC were going to be wiped out. But the MEC without any commander assets fought back hard and regained controle of the southern and center flags, but time was not on there side. With less than a minute to spare the order "Have fun and kill as many as you can" came... USMC won the round.

It was around 1:30 and i had to call it quits but i did talk to Bluedust on Teamspeak about what we had just witnessed. Terms like "propper gaming" and "our new home" were said. The TG server was just what we were looking for and what we have always wanted, but have never realy found. I want to thank everyone that played last night for the exelent teamplay, we will be back for more!!
