I think it was Xiel who took over that duty for the rest of the map, until he lost connection, had to reboot, etc, at which point I got bumped to SL again (and continued the dismal showing til somwone else took over again). In fact, easily half our squad was suffering tech failures left and right, and at one point I think we lost half the squad within 30 seconds due to various failures.

Anyway... sounds like I'm excusing the 42nd's performance, specifically my own, by playing the 'technical problems' card. The fact is, I was not prepared for what I faced as a rookie SL, and it was only made worse by my VOIP problems.

The 42nd still stands ready to fight and follow orders... but this SL will try and get some more practice time (and confirm VOIP operation) before taking on the role again.

I was the CO... I thought I had one hell of a Squad called 42nd, but no response over VOIP no response to my orders... I was very disappointed and utterly stopped giving orders or tried to get some kind of communication out of them... Well that explains a lot...

Play a couple of Squad member under different squad leaders... I am sure you will pick up quickly.
