ROFL.

Yeah, Lucky is a good SL. I made sure my guys knew to kill him yesterday on Oman. Always welcome to see his name.

Yeah, that was me. It's been a while since I've commanded. I hopped on for one quick game before going to bed. Since the other side had a commander, I decided just to hop into the chair since I was late to the game. You guys pretty much had them cornered in the TV station by the time I got there. Other than that, it was just whack-a-mole until they figured out they were beat. To keep myself amused, I dropped arty on any sniper I could find.

I was surprised to see the TV station go white, which was the doing of the Bom squad. I sent Lucky's squad in to assist and eventually you capped it. Good job all around.

That was kind of my favorite part of Sharqi. I had a totally green squad. All TG virgins. Their reaction to the "TG way" in action was one of stunned silence for most of the map. In that regard I really don't know how well recieved it was. But by the end one guy said something like:

"Wow. It's almost like it's more than just a videogame."

I mean you should've heard him; he was just shocked by what he was seeing out of our level of ad hoc coordination and the opponents responsive reactions to it. It was more satisfying, as a SL, to hear that than any of the CP caps, or hard fought fire fights that round.

Since no one wanted to go to Spec Ops I told UberScoober to sit on the flag. If I saw his name disappear, then I knew that the enemy was on the flag. I explained, he was my Canary in the Mine. Think that was the one that went over well.

It was 4 new guys on FuShe. FPS Douglass didn't join until Sharqi.

"Canary in the mine". That was it. I was cracking up so hard, just picturing Uber sitting there on the TV Station flag waiting to get killed so his SL would know that the enemy was on the flag. Good games.

I feel ya, Abra. I had a newcomer (Skullcracker) last nite and my team for Oman and Karkland. And even though I kinda knew he was a newbie since I could see him hesitating at times when I gave orders (turning back and forth multiple times before moving), I didnt think too much about it since he was doing well. Afterward, he posted on the forums about how much he enjoyed his playtime and it was only his second time playing on TG. Gives a good feeling to know that you contributed to that. I hope you told the guy to payup and become an SM.

So here's to you, Mr. Squad Leader Man.

Heh, that was me, and I was kind of kidding.

I've been playing here for about two weeks now, and I like the playstyle a lot. Teamwork is my favorite part of online gaming.
