Thumbs up European Night 02/11 Server 1, GREAT FUN

YES! That was really fun! And lots of European players along with lots of US daytime players as well. Started out on Kubra at 1900 hrs with whackamole and numerous heli-standoffs between Luckyshot and Pommetje (I’ll gun for you anytime you want Pom). On several occasions when I drove my tank/apc into the lower dam CP to cap, a MEC-heli with Lucky at the helm would appear in the opening and we would fire everything we could in that cramped space until we eventually crashed into eachother, totally wasting our 100-zillion dollar piece of military hardware. It was like a fistfight in a suitcase

Then we moved onto Zatar, and a more populated server, I joined Vissers armoured Squad and we started causing mayhem in our tanks/APCs together with Pommetje, Percu and all the other guys in that squad. On occasion we had a highflying Blackhawk over the village where we spawned to cap it, only to find out that you are falling like a leaf onto…..3 APCS, 1 tank and numerous infantry! I had great fun playing with you guys during all of Zatar although MEC claimed the victory on that one. Some really intense firefights during defence of several of the CPs.

Move onto Dalian plant and the game was equally fun there.

Lets do this again!

I did ok for a guy who can't fly. Even wedged that chopper into the hole below the middle dam flag. Turned it, and popped out the other side. I had a couple run ins with your tank, the wall, trees, and hanging boxes off cranes. Good games though!

What a blast!

YerMom gave me a seat in his chopper on the US side on FuShe Pass, and man did I have a blast. I think our friends in the JamaicanMafia(piloting the Chineese chopper) became a bit frustrated as we kept them out of the sky most of the time. I'm definately not the best gunner around but with a pilot like YerMom even myMom could shot down anything that moves.

Best moment: FuShe Pass
Gunning in the US chopper with YerMom on FuShe

Funniest moment: Sharqi Peninsula
Our squad got lost on the beach trying to get to the TV-Station.
6 soldiers fully-dressed-and-nowhere-to-go.....

Re: European Night 02/11 Server 1, GREAT FUN

I believe I joined the server around 2030 GMT on Dalian as USMC. Tried to use armor but ate three of Deveran's TV guided missiles in a row (Wulfyn was piloting, I believe) so I gave up on that endeavor.

Sharqi was fun even though USMC got pushed from the map. Only complaint was there was a spawn camper (pubbie) from MEC that would wait at each spawn location at THE ALLEY and n00b tubed me three different times when i spawned. After i caught on (slow learner) i would check the spawn points right after capping a flag and sure enough there was that guy waiting patiently for someone to spawn and i'd have to dispatch him. someone must've said something on TS because i don't remember seeing that fellow on the next map, luckily.

Fushe was where our squad really started to click. LEAD-HEADACHE was squadleader and Xink was incredible as usual. we were all engineers and formed an armor column that capped/defended flags at will. an attack helo came sniffing around during the first three minutes of the round but with all the armor and .50 cals on the buggies firing at it simultaneously it exploded in a big hurry. after that i don't remember ANY helos coming near us.

Next was Wake and even though China won the round, our US squad was able to hold the airfield through thick and thin. I truly thought it was one of the best squads I've been in while playing BF2.

I kept on playing until the server was reset for password night, but by then I was completely drained. I now realize I'd played five hours straight on TG before the PW went into effect, and with the level of intensity here I just couldn't keep going at that pace. heh. So I played horribly on Mashtuur and threw in the towel for the night.

Re: European Night 02/11 Server 1, GREAT FUN

Yep, it was fun. I even took a round of the normal pwd game (aarggh, going to bed at 3am is not good - gimme caffeine!).

I am now officially having a phobia of Xink and his shotgun. Everytime I saw his name coming up on Wake I knew I was going to die...

Unfortunately we had a shortage of willing commanders in the beginning. Hope that more people are willing to take the commander chair in the future. Commanding is fun and you get to take out the enemy spec ops

I think it was 3 apc's, 2 tank's and 1 AA at some time. Looking at the minimap was awesome! Should have taken an printscreen, but I did not

Sorry! <3 Wulfyn was doing a great job piloting I believe..I can't remember. I think I might have told him to slow down and give me a better line up at the begginning and then near the end we rocked and we rolled.
