Mashtuur City - 1/30/06 - approx. 11:45pm - 12:55 am

I just wanted to thank the guys in my squad for putting up an AWESOME defense tonight at the South Gas Station !!

Robocop - The inevitable Shotgun to the head !
Evil-Lemon - The undying effort to keep my ass alive !! And the rest of the squad.
Canuck64 - The Support Guru - for keeping eveyone well supplied!!
Rizada - Keeping them busy with that .50 CAL !!
JusB - The "Eyes in the Sky" for the squad .. letting us know what was coming and ofcourse ... picking the enemy off as they tried to advance!!!!

We fought off evey attempt to take over the South Gas Station from attacks from the Backyard and from the Hill.

These guys right here are the EPITOMY of what happens when squad members listen to their squad leader. And when you have guys like this in your squad .... it makes it VERY easy to be a squad leader.

So, I must give the credit to these guys for making my job easy !

Super job guys!!!!!!

You cant get a better squad layout than the one we had. Every single player in that squad are top of the TG list in each of their kits specialties. W/ a good SL we were very effective.

Great round. That was some serious defense. Perfect squad to get into the swing of things again with.

Aw, I never got a chance to attack the South Gas Station. I would have loved to have gone against your squad. Instead, I kept running into Gunrack's squad. Anyway, good games tonite. Nothing like honing your skills against all the great talent on TG.

Good fights tonight guys! I don't remember everyone on my squad, but I do remember Luuser, Matt, Robocop (Buffalo Brigade) off the top of my head as they were the most talkative. That was a rough defense, just wish we had a chance to fully unleash ourselves against it. Our squad captured the Hill early and never relinquished it. We kept running into Gixxer's squad and practically relived the Hatfields and the McCoy's as we would push for the South Gas Station only to be recalled as we neared the flag. There were very intense fights over the artillery as Gixxer's squad would capture the high ground taking advantage of their ability to place their vehicles on the Artillery (Blackhawk and Humvees).

Excellent job guys!

That was a fun round, and a whole lot better than the two rounds before for the USMC. It was a nice, tight game, with the MEC having bleed on our team for awhile, before our team made a comeback with some nice defenses of the northern & southern sections, and held bleed until the MEC got bleed back in the final minutes. By then, it was too late for the MEC, with the final score being in favor of our USMC team: 192-139.

For most of the round, my USMC squad (FPS_Douglas, TheRooster1, MrPeepersLLJK, Macstar55, & marstein) was tasked with defending the Hotel and North Gas Station flags. They all did a great job with the defense of those flags, as we rarely lost them all game until the end there. Of course, we avenged those lost flags at the end with the taking of Backyard & Mosque in the last seconds. Have to give the OpFor, and particularly Bane's squad, credit, though, they would not give up, and gave us some intense firefights.

Yes, they were EXCELLENT battles .... I can't remember when I had as much fun as that ....

To Lucky's and his Squad's credit:

We did try a few time to take the Hill early on but failed due to only attacking with one squad but, Lucky's squad did do a great job with holding the Hill.
Then Late in the game we wanted to just hold the South gas Station as we kept pushing very slighly towards the Hill to keep you guys pinned in ...

Awesome battles!!!!

That was some of the most viscious fighting I've seen in a long while. Squads weren't spread out with a couple of guys attacking at a time. I was pure squad on squad battling... quick, viscious battles. Not just Maashtuur, every map for a while. Great games!

That WAS a great fight. Gunrack ran a great squad, splitting us up between north gas and hotel. we were down early, but came back to tie the game at 430 tickets each. we held op-for's head under water for the rest of the game after that.

Very satisfying, esp. since Op-for had just had their way with us on Karkand and Sharqi. Great fight by both sides.

MANTIS - you were very annoying. I finally had to go sniper to shoo you off that roof top west of the mosque, but not before you had popped us about 15 times. good job.

Gunrack, FPS_Douglas, MrPeepersLLJK, Macstar55, & marstein - Man, what a squad. great fun.
