AAR TG EURO NIGHT, March 10th 20:00 GMT

Another hard fought night is coming to an end. Turnout was a bit lower than the previous weeks, but still good and fun to play.

It started off on Oman and Kubra, both times losing quick.

Memorable moment on Shongua. Everyone in the squad was driving around in an APC. A pity that we could not hold on to them for longer. They got taken out one by one after some time and the rest of the round we were being chased around from one last flag to another.

Another hard fight was Karkand later on. My squad held on to Hotel and Square in the beginning, letting the other teams handle the back flags. US got hold on the gatehouse and destroyed all our assets after a while.
We were holding on great to hotel and square, fighting off one tank after another and had the US on bleed for most of the time. With the US on bleed but our assets destroyed it was a very close match.

After a while we got ordered to retake the suburbs and then tried a few times to cross the landbridge and take the gatehouse back in which we did not succeed. Without the assets and the enemy arty dropping on us all the time we lost that round by a small margin. Good fights!

Thanks to everyone playing in my squad tonight. Good times.

I didn't spend a whole lot of time in the Euro night, came on about 7PM, left about 9, still I had a good time though. I got one screenie from Oman:

That guy in the tank was looking right at me for ages and didn't see me. I couldn't move my crosshair to put it over him as he would probably have noticed the movement. Unfortunately, after a while someone else spawned on him, got in the APC, saw me and killed me.

Re: AAR TG EURO NIGHT, March 10th 20:00 GMT

Damn, I forgot 'bout Thursday Euro night on TG (( All evening I spent on good old CS1.6 servers with my friend and only when he went offline at about 10pm I checked TG server and was just nicely surprised it was populated with about 32+ players. I joined for a last ten minutes on Mashtuur and the whole round on Peninsula where we kept a good defence of the City Entrance almost the whole round. As always, it was very enjoyable to play with TG mates since I don't have much opportunities to do it on other days of a week.
I quit playing on pub servers and can't start it again because I got addicted to TG style too fast

P.S. heh, Lorian, your pic is rather fun because you was scared by an empty tank at least this was so at the moment of a screenshot (check the radar and see there's an empty tank gray icon...)

How long did you stay there Lorian?

And to blow my own whistle(not literarily - although I've heard about people being able to do it), I would like you all to notice that small little red killsig. where I am having one of my first kill in a bomber(shot down mingmongaloo in a chopper- love the nick ming).

Another enjoyable "fight".

Dawolf and Fighter - Dagnabit, as soon as they look in my direction, I'm dead ! (How do you two do it)?

Thanks again to Silver, and the rest of the team.

India, pleasure meeting you at last - looking forward to the next one.

Hm, he must have jumped out just before I took that screenie, guess the guy who got in the APC was the same guy and not somoen else who spawned.

I had a great time, but the maps was a bit 2 large in the begining. Hmm. how i do it... the secret is knowing when to prone, kneel stand up,dance and to exactly know when to fire burst and singleshot, and ofcourse my favorite skill: the hunting. I would say: try to "see" what the enemy can see and sneak up as long as you got the surpsise in you side, and you might take 3 enemys in 1 clip

Karkand was a tough battle. I’ve got to give props to MEC SL Born_Brittle. I think he said it was his first time as a squad leader. He did a great job. There’s not much we could do at that bridge between the Gatehouse and the Train Accident. It seems there is always a good fight at that bridge every time I play that map. Especially when it is set up for only 32 players.
