Sweet Revenge-Karkand 10pm MST
After getting owned on Dalian and Kubra Dam, OpFor made a sweet come back to win on Karkand, which was double sweet since Karkand is stacked against OpFor. They were small but fun fights, with about 12 on each side.
Big thanks to BleakAffinity whose murderous rampage on Karkand was a sight to behold. 51 kills, I believe. And thanks to the rest of Rooster squad, fire teams A and B (Fehmart is all I can remember). It was a great squad that handled split objectives with ease. Also thaks to our CO LuckyShot, who I think did a fair amount of fighting as well as COing.
And Sgt York, if your out there, thanks for catching all of those bullets!!!
Great fight, man.

Re: Sweet Revenge-Karkand 10pm MST
It was a fun little round. I noticed when I first hopped in that there was a UAV overhead. With only 12 people per side asked if there were any ground rules and hearing no, hopped into the CO role. With only 2 squads, it doesn't take much to manage that, so after I got my bearings, began to spot and drop arty. I thought we would lose that one as the US had a stranglehold on that marketplace.
Squad 2 and squad 1 both did tremendous jobs in holding the flags we had, then recapping the marketplace without losing any flags. Yea, I picked up a couple c4 kills as tanks rolled past, but that win was due to the tremendous job that squad 1 and 2 did.
Thanks again, that was fun!

That fight for the market place was mayhem. USMC looked like they just wanted to hold on to that flag and out-kill OpFor for the victory. I sent my Bravo fire squad after the market place. It took a while, but the flag fell.
The difference was made when BleakAffinity grabbed the tank before USMC could get to it. Marketplace fell right after that. Bleak was a frikin terminator that round. Cyberdine systems model 101, man.Only the dead have seen the end of war.

LOL, it was a fun round. You exaggerate my killing abilities.
Yeah, stealing the tank from market was an important moment. Basically there was one guy sitting in the turret and another outside repairing it, I killed the guy in the turret with my SMG and then jumped in. People seem to forget that they're still vulnerable while inside the 50 cals. Probably the stealthiest and coolest thing I've done in my whole BF2 tenure.
Thanks to the 12th for providing some good moving targets

Re: Sweet Revenge-Karkand 10pm MST
I remember that Bleak wiped out a squad pretty much by himself during a USMC attack run on Hotel's fireteam alpha, with a stream of horrible death from the RPK. Something like 7 kills, due to revives and whatnot. I said it then, and I'll say it again: there should be some sort of law against killing that many people.

During that fight I recall an "ohhhhh" coming from the crowd. I looked at the kill report and Bleak had put down 3 USMC in about 1 second. . .WITH THREE DIFFERENT WEAPONS. I don't recall what they were, I think one was the RPK and another from a pistol.

Allright, the old Rooster squad is checking in. Joebar, Fehmart, BleakAffinity, TheRooster. . .we're missing two. Seems like every year, less and less guys show up for the reunion.
Anyway, great job again.
