9/11 Highway to Hell - The angry amphibian's foot
We (UKR) were down a bit at first. Rocketpunch stepped up as CO and turned things around for us. I myself hopped in the big green frog plane and, after realizing the amazing powers of the GATLING GUNS OF DOOM made life hell for those eurotigers
. Props to my boys on the ground, I saw you putting up a hell of a fight down there.
And holy crap Santa and co. Did the germans hate you guys or what? I was almost flying in a protective circle around the farm flag nonstop. It was just a constant stream of armor and helos over there.
anyway, good games tonight.

Re: 9/11 Highway to Hell - The angry amphibian's foot
Believe it or not this is the first time I ever CO on TG, which I've been trying not to do, due to the simple fact that I am not very familiar with the controls, the zooming thing and I don't have much experience with it at all. I don't think I did a very good job and the shear fact that we won by a very small margin was because the GER don't have a CO and the ability of the UKR team.
Sorry if I'd made a mess and not being very communicative. By the way how do you talk to individual squads? and how to you talk to all the squads? I just use the "v" button not sure if I am talking to every SL all at the same time, so I just want to clear that channel as much as possible. A special sorry to squad 2 as I don't think I gave them enough support at farm and they got hammered bad. I think near the end of the game they suggest retaking one of the back flags instead (which is a good call) and we bascially trade that for farm. Town was the other one that get most of the action (as expected). I had multiple sqauds station there, and that flag has changed hands more than I can count. I think near the end of the game the GER just gave up town and seem to concentrate more on farm instead.
I hope I will get better at it and thx all for your patience.

Pick the squad by pushing the number or clicking on them, then use 'B' to talk to them. You can even select multiple squads (CTRL-click or SHIFT-click) and talk to them at the same time with 'B'.
Glad to hear you stepped up, Rocket. I've been meaning to do so myself, but I've only had a chance to put in one or two games at a time, and I can't resist the desire to play with a squad.Peace through fear... since 1947!

Just as a heads up, I dropped Rocket a line about CO'ing and am going to run through how to run the CO controls. If others have that same interest, drop me a PM and I will run you through a quick tutorial on how to CO.

I was in Saik0's squad at the farm, and it really felt like the German team had a grudge against us. We constantly had multiple tanks and infantry rushing us, arty parked on the hill next to us, and constant air attacks. It seemed like their choppers would head directly for our flag every time they took off (with our AA the first target). God only knows how, but we held the flag for 90% of the round.

Yea I thought I saw Santa's name down there and just assumed it was his squad.
From the air you guys were under CONSTANT attack. I would continually see both choppers in hold pattern circling around the flag. You guys seemed out gunned so I gave you about 60% of the air support I provided for the entire map.
I also had some fun destroying the armor in the corn fields next to the flag.

I was spotting artillery for mantis. I think i spawned at the farm for a bit to get a spot, but it was apparently out of range. That CP looked like it was getting bombarded in every kind of way.
